You first need to think about how and where you’re going to wear the deodorant. While this may be the base of your scent that you’ll layer with cologne, it’ll still be prominent throughout the day. If you’re going to a church service with your grandmother, you’ll want a much more conservative scent than you’d choose if you were going to a nightclub.

First and foremost, the Lavender & Mint scent is invigorating and pleasing to the senses. It strikes the perfect balance between a subtle and refreshing fragrance, leaving you feeling clean and confident throughout the day. The combination of lavender's calming properties and the coolness of mint creates a unique and captivating aroma. Most of the Old Spice deodorants offer either 24 or 48 hours of odor protection. You’ll need to choose which one suits your body best. If you tend to sweat a little more or suffer from stronger body odor then the 48 protection might be the better way to go. Dynasty isn’t super leathery, though. It’s got almost a suede-like aroma at times, but sweeter and that initial spiciness to balance out the sweetness.One of the standout features of this deodorant is its aluminum-free formula. This is particularly appealing for those who prefer to avoid aluminum-based products or have sensitive skin. Despite being aluminum-free, this deodorant effectively neutralizes odor, keeping you feeling fresh and protected. Plus, the sandalwood here isn’t bad for being a body wash, but it certainly isn’t like a high end cologne. I really liked the smell of the body wash version when I sniffed it in-store. Dynasty for sure had to make the list, with its rather simple, but very attractive modern take on a classic style.

What they instead added to the mix, is the smell of palm tree wood, which gives Fiji a solid base to work from. No, it’s not overly complex, but this is absolutely one of their better fragrances. Krakengard– Another entry from the Wild Collection. Krakengard gives you a bit of the sea, but doesn’t go full marine mode, like some actual colognes. It’s more like a sea spray, sitting underneath a blend of herbs and citrus.

At the top of my list is Old Spice Swagger. This intense yet uplifting scent is perfect for the gent that exudes confidence. It’s fragranced with cedarwood and lime so there’s a lovely balance between two different scent families. This is another one that delivers a very clean fragrance, with a nice citrus sharpness, which settles down to a manly edge. Nightpanther by Old Spice– The NightPanther comes out at night, “because he works days”, according to the tag line. And what you get with this one, is suited for that time of day. It’s manly without being overpowering so it’s a great choice for going to the office, meeting up with friends, and even doing the school run. But what many users have noticed is that the original scent isn’t quite the same as the true original which can be disappointing if that’s what you were expecting. That said, this modern take is great for the contemporary guy. 10. Old Spice Dynasty Old Spice Dynasty

It is a sweeter fragrance, but the body wash isn’t candy-like. They say that the notes are cherry and cognac, but it definitely leans towards the fruity side of things versus anything really boozy. It’s clean, fresh, and has a slightly woody base in the composition. If you’re in any way unsure, you can perform a patch test to make sure that you won’t suffer any ill effects when using the deodorant. Part of the Old Spice fresh collection, Deep Sea is great for men who want a vibrant scent. It’s inspired by sea elements and citrus but there’s also a hint of a floral accord in there too so it’s a pretty diverse scent.

Bearglove is somewhat candy-like with how the sweetness presents itself, but still has that clean freshness of the other body washes. Probably going to appeal more to younger men. Sandalwood is one of my favorite woody scents so you can imagine my delight when I stumbled across Timber which has a heavy sandalwood fragrance. That said, if you’re not a fan of this sweet, woody scent, you might find this a little too much. The scent of your deodorant is one of the most important things to think about but you’ll need to focus your attention on other factors.

This is a very masculine and rugged scent that’s inspired by nature so it’s great for workout days and leisure time. But while it smells fantastic, this isn’t the best one for stopping odors. If you tend to sweat quite a lot, you might be better off choosing one of the other Old Spice deodorants. 5. Old Spice Timber Old Spice Timber If you like a scent that makes you feel adventurous then I’d recommend Volcano. Old Spice says it’s made from ‘citrus, amber, and bravery’, I don’t know if the scent will ensure that you’ll suddenly be filled with courage but it is sure to boost your confidence. High Endurance Fresh– I’m pretty sure that this is only available as an antiperspirant deodorant. However, Fresh is a simple and straightforward performer, that I have been using. Out of the classic styles of Old Spice deodorant scents, Fresh has been the best on that I’ve tried. Fiji is a fresh and uplifting scent that sits well on the skin and will radiate delicately throughout the day. The only thing that I didn’t like was that this one only fights odor for 24 hours, whereas some of the other Old Spice products work for double this amount of time. 4. Old Spice Volcano Old Spice VolcanoOld Spice Men's Deodorant Aluminum Free in the Lavender & Mint scent is a refreshing and reliable choice for men seeking an effective deodorant without the presence of aluminum. As someone who values both performance and natural ingredients, I am pleased to share my positive experience with this product. It bills itself as the, “Scent of Confidence”. The title is apt, as you do get a very fresh and attractive aroma, even if it can be difficult to exactly describe what it is. It features notes of lime and cedar, which makes sense when you smell it, but not when you see the blue colored body wash. Honestly, this is one that would be fine for women or men. Good performance, as well. It’s a great body spray candidate.
