I responded to Johnrimm`s comment immediately because I know that whenever I am driving my Xtrail I hear the Radiator Fan running a few times when I am not moving forward. Regarding my question to John about whether it is possible that His Xtrail`s Diesel Engine was louder than the Petrol Engine and that was possibly why He has not heard a Fan running: When I turn on the computer, it shows the IBM logo then suddenly says "fan error" on the top left before shutting itself off. I cannot enter the BIOS configuration because it shuts off my computer before I could. This happens regardless if I am running on battery power or A/C power.
