The mosty likely reasons for the cut is due to thongs meaning different items of clothing in the UK (thongs refer to female underwear in British English, unlike how they refer to sandles in Australian English, as the episode intended). Once at the pool they realize they’ve forgotten the rashies and sun cream because they also disregarded them for being "boring", so Bandit says they’ll just have to play in the shade.

The leaflet that Chilli fans herself with to the beginning of the episode is that of the Chinese Restaurant in Takeaway. Bluey is an Emmy award-winning Australian children's television programme currently showing on Disney+ in the UK that celebrates play. Chilli tells her that "boring things are important too", but Bluey denies it, to which Chilli tells her that she sounds like her father.
