I would've expected something more like the deep, very dark and very serious grapefruit of the Hermès Kelly Caleche.

I can’t accurately describe this scent bc it’s SO well blended and the brilliance and beauty far exceeds my verbal abilities! All of our prints are shipped in tubes (except sizes 6x4", 7x5" and A4 prints which are shipped in cardboard mailer envelopes).

The bergamot is heavy and in your face, but give it 5 minutes and it settles so beautifully on the skin and projects like a beast, the patchouli and sandalwood coming out just a few hours after during the drydown. If you’re into Middle Eastern fragrances then the deeper notes of the Coco mademoiselle intense is going to be a good mixer to create an original signature scent with a arab scent layered underneath it to give it depth.

Don't be afraid to wear this as a younger woman (or man), as I think confidence makes the difference in a fragrance like this. I have a tiny bit of 1986 parfum left in a dabber but these days usually wear a more recent EDP spray. The biggest advantage of this is that it never goes sweet or vanillic, while still having Oriental notes. With the Chanel Coco Noir, I don’t feel like I have 100% found the perfume that I think will be a ride or die.

On my skin, sillage is almost non-existent, but I get this vague hint of lightly creamy, barely fruity (the peach, I think) spices. It has elements of a spicy Oriental, a floral aldehydic, a citrus, and a chypre, and something that smells like rosewood to me. She's a little sharper, and the patchouli is more pronounced (I really do love patch, so take my opinions with a large grain of salt).

minutes later, it transitions to the familiar very well-blended heart of the Coco Mademoiselle range. There was something very melancholy and just closed off about this one despite the yummy and elegant notes. Having sampled and adored Coco, I wondered about Coco noir and I have to say that I prefer the former. Lasts pretty long and it's an interesting blend of fresh woods and warm spice tones, makes me think of No5 original but safer for those who haven't worn it or don't quite want to wear it.
