About this deal

I reckon it will be another track that over weeks, months and even years, will have a growing effect on a lot of fans for sure. The triple vinyl includes a special ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’ poster and comes with a 16 page booklet. It performs disco's oldest trick, which is to conjure up happiness from a tiny kernel of melancholy.

As a big Strokes fan, I have always dreamed of this sort of collaboration between my favourite artists and it really delivered! After a few more plays it became a firm favourite and one of those albums I always play in its entirety.Random Access Memories is their most ambitious and epic release to date comprising 13 tracks and over 75 minutes long. All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Usually for items sent overseas the country you live in will determine how quickly your goods arrive, as an example the Spanish postal service is very very slow, the Russian customs clearance can take weeks as well as Brazil. For this seismic album, the band developed and enriched the minimalist production style typical of their previous releases though collaborating with session musicians performing live instrumentation, limiting the use of electronic instruments to simple drum machines, a custom-built modular synthesiser, and their signature vintage vocoders. This is the feel good album of the year (so far, though it's hard to imagine one that could possibly lift you up better on those dark days), and perfectly timed for what could be a long, beautiful summer.

Motherboard" is another solid track and has definitely been composed from the same sort of mind set as a lot of the Tron pieces. Given the input of disco icons Giorgio Moroder and Nile Rogers it's entirely understandable that the overbearing sound on Random Access Memories is one of classic disco with lead single "Get Lucky" a good indicator for what to expect.Todd Edwards (who of course previously collaborated with the Daft boys on Face To Face on Discover) produces some excellent vocals here and his cut up style that you can hear during the chorus really is the glue that really holds this track together. Issued in gatefold jacket with 8-page 12" × 12" booklet containing detailed credits and complete lyrics to each track. The drums are really a pleasure here and the last 2 minutes of "Contact" bring me back to the Homework days of the likes of "Rollin' and Scratchin'" which is a nice sort of touch for the long term fans! Featuring hit single, 'Get Lucky', this album is already considered a defining release of the 2010s pop/electronic landscape.
