About this deal

Nachdem ich den Adapter an den PC angeschlossen habe wurde er direkt erkannt und der Treiber automatisch installiert. It’s still a shame that this support didn’t come from Sony, but I’m not one to stare a gift horse in the mouth. Was using a long cable before so that I could play my computer games on the TV which barely reached and kept getting in the way. The DUALSHOCK 4 USB Wireless Adaptor cannot be used to connect a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller to a PlayStation 4 system, PlayStation Vita system or PlayStation TV system.

Then here's some pretty good news: Sony's releasing a wireless USB adaptor for the controller in Europe and North America, starting 15th September in the Old World and "early September" in the United States.in the US, so it's not exactly going to be cheap – but if you like playing games on your computer, then it may just be a must have.

While being a great idea it just wasn’t implemented well – unless you count using it exclusively for the PS4 Remote Play and using it for PS Now service. Devices using the operating systems listed below or later support DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller Bluetooth and USB connections.

Valve has said they are going to add support for the DS4 controller into Steam, just like with the Steam controller. Keith keeps follows on the ongoings of videogames, anime, comics and technology, and has been writing about these topics for the past 10 years. To reconnect your wireless controller to your PS5 console or PS4 console, connect it with a compatible USB cable and press the PS button on the wireless controller. While pressing and holding the SHARE button, press and hold the PS Button until the light bar flashes.
