I brushed this mirror below with Antique Gold, which is more yellowy and brighter than European Gold. I used an old broken spatula to try it on plastic, a yardstick for raw wood, and some spray painted molding for a painted surface. I used Rub n Buff to make this cheap light fixture look like a more expensive version from Pottery Barn. That being said, it is extremely durable and I’ve personally never had it wear off and I’ve used it for cabinet hardware.NOTE: Do not use cleaners that contain solvents as these may cause the Rub 'n Buff to disperse into the carpet padding.
