In my two prior reviews of Sennheiser products, I talked about how the GSP 300 and GSP 600 are no-frills, clean cut audio. All i know is, they can handle an explosion nicely, or gunfire, most times both, but not if you throw voice comms or some other sound into the mix, they just go static in clumps and perform really badly. As a result, it was possible to pinpoint the exact position of our enemies without even having to move the camera.The frame is still massive and bulky and as far as I can tell, no changes have been made to slim it down and it’s only gone up in the weight by three grams versus the GSP 600.

There’s no reason to go nuts finding a specific codec that may have issues connecting with other devices. Everything did sound wider, with an increased sense of scale, but there's an unmistakable sense of artificiality in that width. I already own the Sennheiser PC 363D which has been my daily headset for 7-8 years which has given me zero issues. This is thanks to the mechanical outline of the headband and metal single-sided yoke, combined with an adjustable caliper pressure system at the top of the headband.

Built-in intelligent battery management detects when the headset is not used and preserves its 16 hour low-latency / 20 hour Bluetooth battery life. The pairing button is on the left ear piece and will also give the user the amount of battery life left once paired with a quick flick of the button. Sennheiser managed to preserve the bass and a big part of the sound clarity with virtual surround sound on, so do give it a try—perhaps you'll enjoy it in some titles. The headband's generous padding at the top of the head did its job, keeping me comfortable, for hours.

Combined with the adjustable tension of the band, headphones like these made establishing an especially tight seal easy. With the right adjustments, the earcups never dug in but felt firmly attached enough that I could move my head around comfortably without the headset shifting position.
