The house of Hine stands on the banks of the River Charente and, it is in its dark, ancient cellars that their unrivalled collection of cognac reserves gently age in mature oak casks under the supervision of Hine's Cellar Master, Eric Forget. A tasting of our cognacs, exclusively from the region’s first two growths, the Grande and Petite Champagne, will conclude the journey to awaken your senses.

Hine is one of the few houses to specialise in Vintage cognacs, either matured in Jarnac, or shipped to the UK at an early age and matured in cool, damp British cellars, and bottled as Early-landed Vintages. True to the Hine House style, Rare VSOP is distinctly elegant and loved by connoisseurs and novices alike, thanks to its velvety texture and long finish. However legend has it that in Dorset, Thomas Hine’s home county, lived a white hart, a harbinger of good fortune and that this is why he elected the stag. Hine's philosophy of creating the highest quality Cognacs respects the Maison’s heritage and terroir and they have been the sole official supplier of Cognac to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II since 1962.
