Another novelty is the concentration of the fragrance, in Eau de Parfum, which is the first of the brand made for men, following a worldwide trend. Earlier versions still have pineapple and oak moss (through Evernyl compound) in common, which did not come into this composition.This opens up very minty and green but then once it dries down it gets powdery,slightly spicy, but the mint and apple stay in the background making this a pleasant powdery, fresh scent that to my nose smells like a high end body wash. Legend Night opens with woody notes of bergamot and aromatic sage while the heart notes offer a deep harmony of vetiver with a thread of violet running through. A duo of Vetiver and Patchouli Wood are paired with Musk and velvety black Vanilla to create a seductive base. In the dry down black vanilla starts to embrance the combination of notes and the fragrance transforms into a semi sweet floral powdery dark vanilla scent.

The Legend Night bottle, inspired by a precious liquor, mixes shiny black contrasts with an intense cognac colour. He described it as smooth and sexy with just the right amount of modern edginess to it to attract attention. There is an early blast – worthy of an Eau de Parfum – but it softens very quickly (at least on my skin). Legend Night has a more cream soda like opening than any of the higher end fragrances people are comparing it to and dries down to be entirely different.With that being said, reapplication is a must, but it should result in the winning of some very nice trophies. After about 20 minutes I can smell a juicy apple and vanilla with slight hint of cardamom and woods.

As an owner of Montblanc Legend Intense I was expecting much more from an Edp with a Legend vibe but there is nothing like that here. It settles down after about two hours but continues to hold on for at least another 6, probably more. Although it advertised as Legend Night and consumer would expect it to be heavy, seductive, sweet, musky and all that, the fragrance is to me very light. An elegant dinner in a good restaurant with your wife/fiancée is the perfect setting for this sexy, sweet fragrance.Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. It's in the same sort of group as YSL's Nuit de l'homme, but as that now performs so badly, I'd say this is a good alternative. But it does die down a bit after an hour, but if you take a 2ml/5ml decant with you then you can top yourself up half way through your date and then, boom, your longevity problem has been sorted. Overall - Floral notes and/or vanilla notes mixed with woody accords nearly always come off as powdery to me.
