About this deal

Why we like it: “I often feel like most typical travel pillows are too bulky and hard to get comfortable on, so I was keen to try this style when I flew to Vancouver.

The S3’s cover is also fully removable and machine-washable — a must when it comes to something that touches highly trafficked surfaces like airplane seats. Finally, we factored in the cost and looks of each pillow to determine their overall value and to choose the best pillow for most travelers. Similar to the trtl pillow but padded with soft microfleece and covered with microsuede, BCozzy's wrap-around design offers plenty of flexibility in terms of how you wear it. This style of raised support does work well, but only if you’re sitting upright in my experience – not if you’re fully reclining. Why we like it: “I find it super difficult to sleep upright, which is why I loved the high back and firm cushioned support on this pillow.Even though the Huzi Infinity and Bcozzy don't have removable covers, both polyester pillows can be tossed into the washing machine.

The key feature of this product is its strapping to a fixed object (the head rest of your plane seat) so you support your neck/cheeks on something that doesn't move with you as you doze off. If you’ve ever sat on a long journey and woken yourself up with a lolling head and a sore neck then you might want to invest in a travel pillow. Many travel pillows also clip onto your backpack or suitcase, so you don’t need to worry about taking up precious room in your luggage. The removable, machine-washable cover is a blend of polyester and spandex, offering a velvety next-to-skin feel that makes you want to snuggle up with this pillow on long trips. We've also got your other holiday packing essentials covered, from the best packing cubes and the best fashion luggage brands, to the best crinkle swimsuits, airport outfits and after sun lotions. I think the J-pillow is a great choice if you have a window seat on a plane, or are traveling by car or train.

Why we like it: “I wasn’t convinced by the idea of an inflatable polyester travel pillow, especially not in comparison to some of the super-soft memory foam numbers I’ve tried (Ostrichpillow cinches it for me in the cosiness stakes). Although this pillow can spin around to adapt for front-facing sleepers, it provides a bit less chin support than the design suggests. I always struggle with hotel pillows (they’re often too big and fluffy), but the Snoooze feels firm yet squidgy and helped me get proper deep sleep during a hotel stay in Greece recently. Though the cover of the Evolution S3 is easy to remove for washing, it is a bit more challenging to get back over the pillow when it's time to use it again. The moment Steve’s colleague mentioned the straps, I realized that was my problem—either I have a weighty head or feeble neck muscles.Plus, the storage bag has its own drawstring closure to ensure the pillow stays compact and in its case. Despite a few small faults, the Cabeau Evolution S3 was still my favourite and I had the best nap while wearing it on a train. It is by far the most comfortable pillow I’ve ever used and I love that it rolls up into a “cinnamon bun” during transport. Our classic memory foam pillow puts an end to stiff necks, bobbleheads, and waking up on someone else's shoulder. Everytime they spoke to me I had to turn my full upper body to pay attention because my neck was
