The Cross Selectip jumbo ballpoint pen refill has a medium tip and is available in black or blue ink. At the time of writing this, Cross makes three different Selectip refills, a gel rollerball, jumbo ballpoint, and a porous point fineliner. Let’s guide you through the different types of pen refills, and the process of refilling the pen correctly. Cross Selectip refills will also fit older Sheaffer pens that used to use the same refill known as the Sheaffer C Style refill.

At the end of the refill is a color-coded plastic adapter with a screw thread to secure the refill in place.
