The video quality of the doc is no better than VHS, very little was done to make it look good for DVD.

This version excludes Extreme's "Love of My Life" and "More Than Words", Def Leppard's "Animal" and "Let's Get Rocked", Spinal Tap, U2 and Mango Groove from the opening acts segment of the show, and Robert Plant's "Innuendo" from the Queen+ segment of the show. With the above in mind I have owned the show on home taped VHS, Laserdisc (and still have it somewhere), DVD and now, Blu Ray. The only definitive version would be the full TV coverage, of which the only copies out there will be well worn VHS. Queen guitarist Brian May sings the first verse with Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott coming in for the rest. He then introduces Lisa Stansfield ("No hoover, no curlers") for the duet on the moving "These Are the Days of Our Lives".Elton then begins "The Show Must Go On" by saying it's one of his favorites from the "Innuendo" album but not before thanking Queen for "working their asses off" putting the concert together. The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness was a benefit concert held on Easter Monday, 20 April 1992, at Wembley Stadium in London, England, for an audience of 72,000.

The AIDS charity concert staged by the surviving members of Queen on April 20, 1992, at Wembley Stadium was an appropriate send-off for the band's late lead singer, Freddie Mercury, who had succumbed to the disease five months earlier.

Lisa has a very smooth and elegant singing voice and no doubt helped bring a smile to everyone's face. Of course you'll never get Avatar-like HD, but, watching it on a 50" screen, closer shots look GRRREAT!
