The details made it easy to paint of picture of the book in my head, without being unnecessary and weighing down the book. We learned to navigate and weave our lives around each other, and in this house, I’m not sure I can invisibly weave around any of these people.

When Jude, as an adult, is adopted by his favorite Harvard law professor, his friends join him for Thanksgiving in Cambridge every year.I really enjoyed both characters and their stories and though the book did get a bit depressing at times, it was well worth it, The book held my interest the entire time and I was actually surprised a few times.

Join Beyah and Samson as they meet unexpectedly, both from very different backgrounds, not knowing that doing so will change both of their lives forever. samson was caught taking photos of her and i did find it to be creepy at first, considering it was a random person he didn’t know yet but once the story continued, it made sense.A thoughtful exploration of how poverty impacts people's choices and blurs the lines between good and bad behavior. But when she forms an alliance with a cute groomsman, she's at risk of losing both the game … and her heart.
