Then I read the blurb, and I wanted to read it even more… This book gave me high Finlay Donovan vibes (a series I love), and I’ve been excited to read it ever since it appeared on my kindle.Kitty is a vegan Dexter-esque fashionista haunted by a dark past that seems to bleed into her present. As she starts killing her way through the harsh men of London, she meets a man she falls in love with. Kitty Collins is the vegan heiress of one of the biggest meat companies in the world and the millions that come with it. Kitty never really believes herself to be in any danger of being caught, thinks she is smarter and better than pretty much everyone around her, which is hilarious when you think she is going round murdering people. She posts sexy pictures, she goes to all the right clubs, she surrounds herself in other beautiful privileged people, and she has a secret hobby of killing men who hurt women and don’t deserve to live.

Aus verständlichen Gründen geht sie dabei anonym vor, doch schon bald gerät ihr Doppelleben und damit auch ihre Freiheit in Gefahr, denn ein Stalker scheint ihr auf Schritt und Tritt zu folgen. What I also loved is that How To Kill Men And Get Away With It doesn’t fit in a neat little genre box. How to Kill Men and Get Away With It” is included on the Goodreads lists “Not a Handbook”, and “[ATY 2023]: Murder! So after finishing that book in 4 days in between running a business and looking after my little girl it’s safe to say I was totally hooked and a complete book worm!

I’m not sure if Katy Brent wanted to produce anything other than something darkly entertaining; however, How to Kill Men does challenge stereotypes and evoke questions about accountability and who has the right to be judge, jury and in this case executioner! She loved bankrolling her life with her Instagram money but constantly bitched about what it meant to be an influencer. I strongly recommended 'How To Kill Men And Get Away With It", It's an engaging, exciting, thought-provoking read, studded with moments of wit and moments that are deeply sad and disturbing. Conveniently, as the heiress to Collins Cuts (even if she is vegan and refuses her share of the profits), she has the perfect disposal method available. From “ghosting” in dating to sexual harassment, and sexual assault, Brent carries each of them with brutal honesty and dark humor. The body count mounts, the corpses are efficiently dealt with and an underlying mystery concerning Kitty’s Dad – who made a fortune out of making meat pies – and who hasn’t been seen for a while, gradually unfolds. But if you can let go of your pop culture education in forensics from TV and true crime books, you too can enjoy Kitty and her one-woman vengeance crusade. and life just becomes too much again and I take more drugs and drink some wine this time and soon it fades away again. From then on, Kitty is poised to kill the cruel men doing unspeakable things to women, intending to make the world a safer place by purging it of the very worst of men. While the killing spree may have been unrealistic and far-fetched, this kept the story light and entertaining, which I enjoyed.
