About this deal

I have had a number of spices and herbs that were given to me as a gift and until I picked up these books I had never used them. Lean in 15 has been translated into 18 languages and sold over 1 million copies in its first year of publishing. Will update if everything else is we try rubbish, but having not tried his recipes before, I'm happy so far. million viewers tuned into Joe's debut TV show, Joe Wicks: The Body Coach, which aired on August 29th 2016 on Channel 4.

Maybe for people who like a lot of different types of meals it would be amazing but for us it wasn’t fantastic. The recipes looks great and easy, the ingredients listed are easy to get in your local supermarket and everything seems fairly easy to do. With 100 healthy, tasty, simple recipes to feed the whole family, this book is sure to provide new favourite go-to meals for speedy suppers, celebrations and everything in between. This book is full of lovely photos of the food and of Joes family but even if you are cooking for yourself or just a big kid (husband) like me there are plenty of fresh ideas in here.Spend less time in the kitchen and more time together with 100 family-friendly recipes from Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach, the nation's favourite PE teacher and record-breaking bestselling author. This healthy winter warmer can be ready to serve in a mere quarter of an hour, though it does require masterful levels of efficiency in the kitchen.

No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. My wife loves these books the recipes are tasty and generally quite healthy if you stick to the measurements and weight that Joe sets with the recipe lists. The recipes are easy to follow, with clear cooking instructions, and I really appreciate the accompanying photographs and illustrations so that I can see what the end result should look like. Packed with healthy fats and protein, these muffins are a perfect snack for when you're on the go (or make a great breakfast too). Then there’s the award-winning Body Coach app, launched in December 2020, which generates health plans comprising of short, sweet and sweaty HIIT workouts and Joe Wicks recipes for those looking to get fit. Nice for the coffee table ( everyone picks it up and has a flick through ) better in the kitchen where I had resounding success and no complaints at the table.

Registered office address: Unit 34 Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EF. The photographs are so good - every single dish is bright, colourful, appealing and just begging to be tried. Joe Wicks, aka The Body Coach, is Britain's favourite healthy cook and fitness sensation – and a national treasure. This one lost me almost straight away, when the very first recipe uses sesame oil to saute mushrooms. He’s won legions of fans with his philosophy 'eat more, exercise less', and even more new followers with his live PE lessons, but did you know he also does cookbooks? If my toddler is a bit unsure about a new dish, I make sure I offer the new food alongside known and favourite foods. I have to be honest I did not realise how easy it is to make gnocchi so I intend to try that out shortly as well.

There's a fairly wide variety of dishes, although for me they relied a bit too heavily on meat and fish. The recipes are split into sections based on how a family is likely to be cooking; ‘on the hob’, ‘bung it in the oven’ or recipes that can be made in large batches. All of the recipes in Cooking for Family and Friends are organised into reduced-carb and post workout chapters; just like Joe's first three Lean in 15 cookbooks. Some unfamiliar ingredients also needed a quick explanation - for example, ketjap manis, an Indonesian soy sauce - as not everyone will know what they are. Bite-size and perfect to pack in your lunch box, these Mexican toasties will make you question whether they can actually be tasty.

Hailing from Epsom, Surrey but now a London local, Joe has always been interested in fitness and nutrition. But we think the real reason is that when people stop relying on ready meals and start cooking for themselves, they feel healthier and keep going. This is the second of Joe Wicks cook books that I have and if I’m honest I don’t think this one is as good. Dubbing it as a "belter of a breakfast", Joe Wicks combines oats, cacao powder, honey, Greek yogurt, almond milk, orange zest, and orange juice for a quick and simple breakfast.
