I think closetlikeboots' comment of it having a faint waft that follows you is spot on as I have noticed it in the passageway outside my office if I have only been away for a short while. It's a great light fragrance and I will forever link it to me walking in flat boots and a black dress through the snow with a cold winter sun peeking through the clouds after a wonderful night.

I would definitely like this more if pomegranate and tea notes appear stronger but Jeu D'Amour for me is completely white floralish-floral type of scent. Certamente percebo as notas florais por bastante tempo e na abertura me chama a atenção o toque de chá e uma nota cítrica bem leve. The nude-colored bottle echoes the sensuality of the skin, its pure lines evoke the femininity of a dress… A joyful hymn to seduction which makes you want to play along. Just received this today and the same day I received it, I gave it away to a friend lol, its not a terrible scent but its a very one dimensional, synthetic white floral fragrance without any presence or lasting power.

It seems to me that many new perfumes features tuberose or gardenia, then they smell nothing like them and they are probably replacers. Tea, Mandarin and Pomegranate set the mood, Tuberose and Freesia sign an ultra-feminine floral heart over a sensual base of creamy san. I've had a sample vial of Jeu d'Amour for some time now, but haven't really been drawn to try it until today, which I only did because it was in my bag and I didn't like the other vial I tried on this morning (Marc Jacobs Honey). I haven't got any experience with Avon's perfumes so I can't compare the bottle design, to me it seems an elegant understated bottle, just like the perfume inside.I've been looking for a long time for a perfume that was fresh, woody, breezy, green and floral and this is the best example that suits the decription. Floral tones of tuberose and freesia offer femininity, lingering over a sensual base of musk and creamy sandalwood. Apparantly it doesnt smell good on me if i had not showered since morning and just spray it on my arm at night. My boyfriend had a hangover and is very sensitive to smells but he even cuddled and I felt clean and elegant despite the serious lack of sleep. there is a new Version of this - L´Elixir in a dark purple bottle - I got this and love it more than this and the EDP because of the warmth of Rum and Vanila base - perfect for cold winter!

Tea, Mandarin and Pomegranate set the mood, Tuberose and Freesia sign an ultra-feminine floral heart over a sensual base of creamy sandalwood and Musks. When I woke up the next morning I smelled of tobacco, spilled beer and had bags for days under my eyes, everything you don't want your family to see at family dinner. However whatever it is that makes it interesting wears off within 20 mins and leaves a generic soapy white floral. By using a higher concentration of fragrant oils, Eau de Parfum is more potent and takes longer to evaporate, meaning you won't have to reapply as often. It has been on me for 2 days already, it has a trail, not overpowering, very feminine (warm, delicate). Jeu d'Amour is a bright, relatively authentic tuberose, with a sensuous white floral and vanilla drydown. Generally it doesn't last long though after 2 hrs you won't be able to smell it on yourself, though others will. Not that this scent is the epithome of creativity and originality, but in the messy sea of mainstream it stands quite bright. The drydown is nice with a musky and powdery slightly sweet tuberose and fruity lasting scent with good sillage.
