About this deal

As part of my ongoing attempt to smarten myself up and streamline my wardrobe I have been trying out new fashion trends. The rest of my makeup applied very nicely on top of this foundation as it was not super tacky feeling. While mostly everyone is loving this new base that is targeted to dry skin types, many have complained at the lack of dark shades for deeper skin tones.

I also had to mix 2 shades together with the Pro-Matte since I am mid-way between 101 and 102 with those foundations as well. It would be good to see you without this and apply in fornt of us, looks like you are wearing alot of product already, it is not clear if you are wearing this product, or what else you ahve used to prime, set etc. A glycerin derived, synthetic oily liquid that is also water soluble and works as a great skin moisturizer. This is not to say it is poor quality, it is just not as compatable with dry or mature skin, but it you have oily skin, you probably would not experience any of those issues and this would honestly be my top recommendation. The foundation comes in a plastic squeezy tube, and is easily dispersed as it is quite runny in consistency. In comparison, L’Oreal does make a great Pro-Matte Foundation that is pretty similar to this, but slightly fuller coverage. Unlike Pro-Matte, this foundation has a very liquidy consistency that feels lightweight on the skin.

I use the shade ‘205 – Natural Beige’, which is a medium tan shade with warm undertones that matches me really well.So you can imagine my unadulterated joy when L'Oréal finally announced they were rolling out Pro-Glow in the UK. I’ve spent the past few days wearing them on one half of my face each, being the dedicated tester that I am. I have dry skin, so unfortunately this product does not work for me unless I mix it with moisturizer for a more natural look. I really could just copy and paste that section and give it a new title, because Pro Glow seems so similar.

While the shade range is not nearly broad enough, L’Oreal did make some colors that those of us with deeper skin tones can wear. Now obviously, one is a matte finish and the other is a radiant finish but I figure I would show you the difference in consistency and color, so lets get started. Mine is normal to dry at the moment and I found the last good with only minimal fading towards the end of the day. I’m late with this L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation review but I think it’ll have been worth waiting for, especially if you are on the hunt for a flawless-finish foundation that manages to look fresh and natural on the skin, that has a bouncy, plumptious finish and great hold. Saying that, it still looks and feels beautiful on my skin, and is one of the better foundations I have tried.
