About this deal

The people of Japan believe that everyone has an ikigai - a reason for being; the thing that gets you out of bed each morning. Viv received my wrath at the end of the first story for not hating one of these men after his latest confession but that changed with more insight in the second book. Siobhan broke my heart several times in this duet, but now I've finished it I know there is no other way this could have played out. I downloaded this as soon a s I finished the first book but was not emotionally ready to read it, I went back to it 4 weeks later. The fig tree is there, too, when war breaks out, when the capital is reduced to ashes and rubble, when the teenagers vanish.

Do you feel weighed down by stress and pressure, held back by judgement and lack of opportunity, and critcised by everyone – including yourself? Siobhans writing and world building, as always, is impeccable and she manages to throw so many twists and revelations into this book that you will absolutely not see coming. This author did a wonderful job at exploring the gray areas in her characters lives and decisions that most readers' natural inclination would be to make black and white judgments of. There is so much here- love and hate, mistakes and forgiveness, manipulation and selfness, innocence and maturity, pain and joy, desperation and patience, mistrust and understanding, feear and freedom, destiny and soulmates, the infinite capacity of the heart to love.Reeve’s Viv’s and Dillon’s story has hit me and hit me good their love story is soo beautiful and yes whilst I wanted to hit both men and viv at times throughout both books (I find that happens when I become so invested in characters) they came out full circle and this truly is the most beautiful way to complete a story! I’m always disappointed when a book or series ends but I can honestly say that Siobhan Davis has given us the whole story here. Let Me Love You takes you on an emotional journey but end the duet in a way that can only be described as perfect. If you don’t mind emotional highs and lows what are you waiting for but please take note of the trigger warnings.

In the absolutely packed Act II, the dark fantasy resumes and the Sandman expands into the French Revolution, ancient Rome, 19th-century San Francisco, eighth-century Baghdad, and beyond. Best-selling author Mark Manson brings his signature no-nonsense wisdom back to the subject he started his career covering: relationships. And believe it or not, I love both Reeve and Dillon, in different ways and in different measures, but I appreciated and cared for each of them and the role they played in Viv’s story. It is not a standalone and the first ended in a cliffhanger about the three of them which left me desperate for this book due to the tremendous revelations. I hope men takes notes of the romance in this book because who doesn’t loooove being blackmailed with your nudes by your S/O?You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The taverna is the only place that Kostas and Defne can meet in secret, hidden beneath the blackened beams from which hang garlands of garlic and chilli peppers, creeping honeysuckle, and in the centre, growing through a cavity in the roof, a fig tree.

I couldn’t get enough of Vivien, Dillon, and Reeve’s bitter and emotional roller-coaster ride romance. I can honestly say I have never disliked any characters as much as I did when it came to Vivien and Dillion.

This is one of many books I have read by Siobhan Davies and I have to say hands down her best so far. This was an utterly achingly beautiful read that will take you mind and heart exploring to new heights. My emotions were all over the place, even though I'm over the moon with the outcome it took some twists and turns I never expected but loved anyway. I’m normally a quick reader, but until someone invents windshield wipers for my eyeballs, I had to stop multiple times because it was a tropical storm happening right in front of my face making it impossible to read or even breathe. This story does the hard and painful emotional work of unpacking every aspect of their hearts- and the path to the HEA Is arduous and painful, but SO worth it in the end.
