About this deal

A glorious celebration of community, filled with recipes from all over the world and simple instructions perfect for young chefs, a visual feast to share and delight in. This delightfully illustrated children’s cookbook offers a global menu of dishes to share with friends, family, and neighbours … Combining simple, fresh flavours with recipes from around the world, this book will nourish and inspire budding cooks while whetting the appetites of their more experienced helpers.

The book provides a fantastic tour of international cuisine and there is a lot to talk about in each apartment … An enchanting book that can be used in different ways. It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you.

The recipes are irresistible and children would enjoy finding out about their provenance as well as making them.

However, in ‘ Lunch at 10 Pomegranate Street’, this picture book maker presents a series of fifteen individual stories and international recipes. This is a delightful book full of a range of recipes from diverse cultures and cuisines - it has beautiful illustrations and is perfect for adults and children to share together - and inspire some tasty meals! Mr Singh is making coconut dahl with his daughter while Maria mashes some avocados for her guacamole. This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally). A gorgeous way to share recipes from around the world with children, Lunch at 10 Pomegranate Street serves up an array of flavours from the residents of each apartment with simple instructions and tasty ingredients to inspire even reluctant tasters to step into the kitchen.
