AVP 1&2 are trash, and Predators was a nifty idea that got buried under unlikable characters, bad effects, and meandering "plot" that I couldn't engage with. Never saw The Predator, and probably won't. The Predator is first of all a cinematographic work which was born in the 80s through a saga in 1987 directed by John Mctiernan. Several versions followed over the years by different directors. This phenomenon having taken such a large scale, specialized figurine manufacturers, inspired by these fearsome predators, have decided to create collector figurines in different versions and formats with several price ranges. Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, the sci-fi movie Prey follows Naru, a fierce and skilled young warrior who has been raised in the shadow of the most legendary hunters on the Great Plains. The prey she stalks turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries. Hot Toys seems to adjust Alien designs for the worse but they always seem to make some neat adjustments to Predators.

The ship was tailor-made to match up CH, so that’s why this look wouldn’t fit in with any of the other Predators in the series (The first especially). That’s sorta why, when I see this same ship interior in other projects/media, it sometimes doesn’t seem to match up, design-wise with the Predators in the story. The First Predator, JH ( Jungle Hunter) wouldn’t seem to fit in with the ’PREDATOR 2’ ship, since his whole armor design is so aesthetically different than CH’s. The teeth don't look quite so chunky.Lawrence G. He had thought of doing things with lights and lasers. But I had the idea of designing a space vehicle unlike anything that had ever been designed before.” The thing most people might not know is, despite how amazing the ’PREDATOR 2’ ship design is, it was specifically created to match the look of the Predator itself. With CH having all different shades of bronze & gold colored armor, the ship was meant to be a matching visual extension of the Predator’s look in the film. The ships warm orange tones were meant to match the feel & look of the Predator’s design.

Some fans believed the jaw bone on the Berserker was from a xenomorph but director Nimrod Antal came up with the idea of augmenting the Super Predator masks with bones of creatures they hunted. In retrospect, the original predator character design was a clever mix of futuristic tech, primevil savagery and a recognizable code of conduct. The 2022 version, on the other hand, seems more crude, more weird, less familiar, the goal apparently being to make it more menacing -- and while some may consider it a success, I don't, and I don't want it on my shelf. I really liked the original, the facial features and chrome helmet especially. It was brilliant. The 2022 movie really spoiled that. As part of their social media posts, Hot Toys also included a description for the 1/6th scale Feral Predator: It would be nice if Hot Toys would release more alien things with today's technology, especially the human characters would be interesting.
