About this deal

In the end, I would like to state that this was or is NOT a duel - there is really no question of that. Both know how to flatter with their merits and as always, YOUR personal preferences decide! Of course you have to keep in mind: if you do not like intensive resin scents, you are completely wrong here. The scent is loud, intense and demanding. For lovers of such fragrances this is a single pleasure, for others too much. In fact the scent is not perceived by the environment as an intensive "smoke bomb" but as a fragrant scent with various associations ranging from Christmas market to anywhere else. Fragrances that are like an experience. However, they also come with prices to match (understandable). The projection is very strong, my girlfriend said after 3 hours that the scent would be extremely strong - so the perception. So if you’re looking for a heavy-hitter, you will be disappointed. This is a reserved gentlemanly scent.

To clarify, it’s not an everyday casual type of scent which would go well with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, for example. Far from it. And this is joined with dry tobacco leaves, mixed with swirls of rich smoky frankincense. Pinch of Leather And what’s more, just as Jubilation XXV was created to celebrate a special occasion… Special Occasions Maybe one or the other asks this question, but I can tell you that yesterday - in the context of my university home office - I dealt with the scent almost more extensively than with my university stuff. I therefore confidently claim that I can and may allow myself a comment right now. Interlude is worth its money for me because of its small nuances, its more detailed elaboration if you like to wear such fragrances often and with pleasure. If you only find the fragrance exciting, if you only decide to use it every few months, you are better off with Midnight Oud as a 95% copy, at least in monetary terms. Amouage is a label that offers variety and is successful with several extremes. I would say that whoever likes Journey Man also likes Interlude. Conversely, due to the sharpness of Journey Man, this is not certain, because the allspice is there but not very sharp. Before frankincense is satisfied and the "Venus resin" opoponax is established, the cistus rose appears. This is a very strong, very dark, very smoky, incensey and warm semi-sweet resinous woody scent – with a Middle Eastern feel. And is more suited for everyday daytime casual, semi-formal use. Works great in the outdoors, for vacations etc. And is also office/work safe (spray lightly). This is not for the younger guys; this is grown men’s stuff. Because this is a very serious, mature smelling scent. My recommendation?

In short: it’s a dark rich resinous and warm spicy sweet-honeyed woody scent. It’s complex. And because it’s so well blended, I can’t detect all the individual listed notes.

Now, it’s your turn…

I wanted to show you how complex and spiritual a production can be from beginning to end, even if it is mass produced. Make your own picture in Oman where you can see Amouage in person:-) This fragrance creation becomes a little more civilized at the end with patchouli, another light spot in the fragrance, and sandalwood. I still love sandalwood very much! And this is mixed with a touch of elemi (a resin), which adds a contrasting fresh green citrusy lime-like quality. Freshly Ground Peppercorns Interlude doesn't immediately start with that roasted oregano drone and the pimento's pungent appeal as you might expect. Rather, it is as if the fragrance is starting to take off, wanting to recharge itself, because the beginning is still harmless for the first moments, although you feel that there is more to come. The bergamot is given room to unfold. This gives the fragrance these impressive and profound nuances that set it apart from pure spice or incense scents, which initially give it the aura described above.

This is what many Christians confess in the Apostolic Creed. They confess that Jesus, after being laid in the tomb of the hill, descended into the kingdom of death, defeated death and rose again on the third day. Today on Good Friday is practically the beginning of his odyssey, the crucifixion of Jesus, with which the whole thing began. That said, don’t write the scent off just yet, because it slowly transforms into something special. So give it some time. Oud must not be missing from this fragrance development: it has to be. A certain animalistic "nuisance" belongs to "Interlude Man"! It’s green. Very green. More specifically, it’s an extremely natural smelling minty green and woody fresh clean scent. However, if you’re already a fragrance connoisseur, then maybe the brand’s darker, more complex offerings on this list would be more suitable for you. To be clear…

It has a professional businessman like feel to it, and is great for the office. Or for nights out, date nights, for that matter. The notes are very finely tuned to each other, they harmonize extremely well which ensures that the composition is very balanced and clear. In addition, it is still very complex, great! br /> And buried underneath all this greenness is a soapy layer of orange blossom – which has the slightest hint of sweetness. Because out of all their scents, this is the most mass-appealing (compliment getting), versatile and easiest to wear.

Then it slowly becomes more subtle, and creates a nice scent cloud around you. How long does it last? Here’s what we found: Projection: 10/10. It's very wide, you're perceived. Even the end still projects strongly what I think is great. As it settles, the sweet white florals take center stage. And these are joined with a touch of orris root (iris) – which gives the scent a powdery clean soapy sweetness. Creamy Sweet Woods Interlude Man opens up bold and unapologetic, with a dry green herbaceous oregano note, mixed with a dose of spicy pepper. When I smelled that one for the first time, I got annoyed by the oreganoand after almost 1 to 2 hours it became nicer and a very addictive smoky scent. However, it is as niche, as niche is concerned and it takes time for an untrained "nose" to like it, if ever. And finally, this is joined with a kiss of sweetness, which adds a warm semi-sweet nutty woodiness to the scent. Nice.
