About this deal

Furthermore, this is a very close rendition of Creed SMW. The average person won’t be able to tell the difference. You could even claim you’re wearing SMW and nobody would question you. The only real difference is the presence of a tea note in SMW, which Sillage doesn’t have. Later, the ambroxan sets in and gives the whole a very slightly animalic note. I also find this twist exciting. This comforting soft floral sweet and salty musk is a wonderful summer scent, just the perfect thing I was looking for to balance out the majority of my dark and heavy leaning collection. That it's supposed to be a damn good clone of a much pricier niche fragrance is just a bonus really, that I managed to find this at a tenth of the price is a no brainer. I haven't actually tested the Creed equivalent, but I don't feel the need to. I sampled this in 2021 and bought a bottle recently. Still don't know what to make of it. Strange opening that makes my nose feel like it's smelling tv static. Then it gets a bit fruity and salty and I like it, but it doesn't seem to have much definition or depth. When I smell it in the air I love it and want to spray it again, but then the scent I like eludes me again. Interesting note though, I just sprayed it directly on to my skin before going into hot weather and it dried almost instantly into a scent that reminds me of the heart notes of Dior Homme Eau, a soft musk-iris combo. It's funny cause before I went out, I was thinking "how the hell are these people saying they smell violet or iris" lol. Need more time to decide on this one, but there's a reason why I keep trying it I guess

People who claim this isn't as 'high quality' as MI remind me of candid camera shows where a celebrity goes undercover and people don't bat an eye, and when the cameras come out and they're sure it's the celebrity in question, they lose their marbles all of a sudden. If this came in a Creed bottle, you'd all be raving about how Olivier Creed gets the best yields out of raw materials by singing to them lovingly. Sillage is moderate at best, and longevity leaves a bit to be desired, maturing into an alluring skin scent that seems to make up for any initial shortcomings in its staying power. However, the scent lingers pleasantly on fabric for days. Though leaning more towards the feminine spectrum, it's versatile enough to be enjoyed by both genders, making it a go-to fragrance for many, myself included. It exudes a free-spirited charm, making it one of my favorite go-to scents for the summer months. My girlfriend steals it from me a lot. Beautiful. I want it to be my spring/summer fragrance 2022. Clean, masculine, alluring, and soft. There is nothing pungent or scratchy. Great and creamy. The performance is very good, and I got the 2021 batch. Unusual, not a typical freshie. Veeerryyy happy I got it 🙂 Fragrantica.comRight away you can tell this is a clone of Millesime Imperial. Opening is fruity, watery, and smooth. You get a salty wateriness from the sea notes along with some sweetness and tartness from the fruit/bergamot notes. You also get a good dose of violet, and just a touch of the wood notes and musk. Those that say it smells like salted melon are spot on, it absolutely does. In the dry down you still get the same salted melon smell, but the wood and musk notes are much more noticeable.

Positive rating due to good work by Armaf, even though I'm not actually a fan of Silver Mountain Water in particular, or Club de Nuit Sillage for that matter. Reviews

Overall, I summarise Sillage as possessing a citrus heavy opening, drying down into a woody floral musk. Much like Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man, Armaf Sillage opens powerfully. But if you’re patient and let it settle, it does its best work in the dry down. Sure, it is a clone. Who that bothers, may not access here. But if the original calls up such prices and performs so miserably, you can not be surprised if people do not tolerate this further and look for alternatives. Lime and Citrus Peel, Dry Musk, Summer Fruits, White Floral (clean laundry), Soft Wood, Vivacious Airiness, Ambergris(!)

I could see this fragrance being my new signature scent, although I own much more expensive fragrances. But with its floral freshness, it fits easily in 3 seasons (although winter would also be feasible) and for almost any occasion. He acts young, dynamic, but also noble and stylish, so that the fragrance can be worn by almost anyone. SMW white floral drydown was replaced by a pungent citric blast, as the hours passed Sillage became a putrid, citric, spicy mess, it gave me a headache and I had to wash it off completely.

If you like Millesime Imperial, or you like oceanic and fruity fragrances, this is a safe blind buy.
