The brightness can reach up to 320cd/㎡, which is slightly better than most portable monitors that we used before. At the same time, HDR mode is available in the OSD menu. During our experience, we could obviously see the difference in the HDR output, but the actual effect isn’t as good as what we saw on many smartphones’ OLED displays. The Arzopa A1 MAX 17.3” FHD Portable Monitor is simply a really nice monitor. The screen is surrounded by a thin bezel on 3 sides with a larger bezel on the bottom with the branding. It is lightweight and has all the connectivity I need. While it is not 4K, I don’t miss it because the size provides enough real estate for a very good experience. I am not a gamer, but it should be a fun monitor for many games. Well done Arzopa. Arzopa also quotes a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. Always refer to your laptop’s port specs when searching for a portable monitor. Some USB-C ports, for example, may not provide a video signal or support pass-through charging, which charges your device while plugged in. Just because a portable monitor supports a specific feature doesn’t mean it will work on your laptop.
