It's a very well blended flowery green, high on the fresia and with a green carnation that never bores. Other white flowers tht bring on a mellow warm comforting amber musk cozy drydown.I curiously reached for the tester and at first spritz I found it simply horrible..even after half an hour I was wondering who would want to even bother with this fragrance or what occasion would it suit..Only when a good bit of time elapsed did I start finding it familiar, and it dawned on me that I had something similar in my younger years..as I started thinking I realized it was Moschino Cheap and Chic..Maybe they`re not similar otherwise, but on me - hell yea. For some reason I got a whole bunch of testers of this during this spring time's perfume shopping. Only recently got into giving it a good test drive as my after gym/pool perfume (love samples for that purpose, cause they don't take up any space). She has been told by a few different people that she smells like Dr. Pepper, which is funny because that is her favorite soda. And I can see that when she wears it now that it’s been pointed out I can’t believe that I slept on Eternity all this time. I guess that it just became too commonplace after the 80’s for a lot of us 90’s kids. For millennials, it’s safe to say that we all knew someone who wore this. Whether it was your mother, sister, aunt, teacher, neighbor, etc. You absolutely encountered someone somewhere that wore this when it was really popular. And for the people who wore the original formulation at the height of its popularity, this has left some residual impression on your soul and you undoubtedly have so many memories attached to this fragrance. It is that memorable, like the Seinfeld finale episode. I have just started building my collection so when a lot of people kept recommending Eternity as a standout enduring favorite, all I kept thinking about was this emoji: 😬. That is my own fault and bias. I really believed because it’s over thirty years old that it must be old-fashioned, too heavy, overwhelming, yada yada yada. Not the case.

Edit - I do really like this.. I think the too muchness is the fruit. Something sweet. Might work best for summertime, bet it would be delicious in June/July/Aug, but it's middle of winter in Canada. I might try DKNY Be Delicious on this come spring, but for now I'd rather pull out the powdery soap and florals. These are different, and Calvin Klein Woman EDT has a more forward citrus quality, but there is a similar vibe with orange-blossom although it's not listed in Eternity Now. Roughly equivalent performance. As it dries down it becomes more musky and warmer, and gets a bit woody, but still retains the ozonic freshness of the start. Not green though. There’s a quote by Joanna Newsom about her own marriage that I feel sums up the concept of this fragrance perfectly:Incredibly fresh, very green almost to the point of bitterness. White petals and pale green stems. It is crisp and proper and rather serious in its beauty. there’s a certain dignity to this scent that I believe is part of why it often gets called “mature”. It’s because it is not playful and it does not prioritise sweetness or even accessibility. which for some may seem incongruous with the concept of love but I understand what is being said with this fragrance. Do not attempt to wear this thinking that it has no aquatic nature. I don't smell a 'watery note', but the aroma chemical 'calone' is here in abundance. It reeks on me, as 'calone' always has. No complaints on the right skin, obviously. EternityforWomenAir. An uplifting, floral scent with grapefruit oil and sky of the sky accord. Cedarwood and musk tones add sexiness and seduction.

I have a travel bottle of Kayali musk that I’ve layered under this and it really softens it up, lovely combination. I do think this could be worn by a man as well, and I’d love to try Eternity For Men as a comparison.Eternity Now is a bright, sparkling burst of yuzu, litchi, peony, neroli and musk to my nose. It's more fruity and citrusy than floral, however I must admit that this appears to be in its favour. Eternity Now is sure to appeal to those women that live in a humid, warm climate as the scent's longevity keeps you smelling fresh and clean for hours. It’s not really green, or a strong citrus at all. Although the ozonic, white floral and fresh accords should be at the top as that is mainly what you get, not warm spice or coconut which should be at the bottom. Zero coconut, nothing like fresh coconut, nor what’s in Versace crystal noir, nor estee bronze goddess, zip.
