About this deal

Radiotherapy to spine commenced, followed by chemo commenced - FEC-T and eventually a left mastectomy followed by chest radiotherapy. Shortly after I commenced Tamoxifen and monthly zometa IV.

The Daily Dot reached out to multiple toxicologists and regulatory agencies to try and understand what it means for a craft product to be labeled non-toxic, and what might happen if an adult were to ingest glitter pills. While no one was willing to comment on the product directly, they did point to the rules and regulations for an art and craft supply to get a “non-toxic” label in the U.S.

Her writing is honest and brutal, and it needs to be. If people take away one message from this book , it should be this, above all else, don't ever take no for an answer, particularly from a doctor. Question everything!!!!! Please rate and review the podcast where you choose to listen as it helps others discover the conversations Kris is having. I got this as a library loan and raced through it in under a day. It has taken me a while to review however as I was in a complete rage after reading.

Head to Patreon to find out how you can become a member of the Turd Glitterati https://www.patreon.com/howtoglitteraturd Sophie is a powerhouse as you’ll hear, but it’s taken a lot of work and reflection to get to where she is today and work on the relationship with herself, her family, her friends and the wider world. If you were sitting in a room chatting to Kris I cannot imagine the conversation to be any more intimate and engaging than the writing in this book. Kris talks about her childhood, her family, her relationships, the things she loves and hates, how she set up Coppafeel because she believed in cancer prevention and early diagnosis. Starting in a little tent at a festival, winging it, the charity has become a huge force in making changes in health education, a dialogue about the C word and has literally saved the lives of many women who have gone to their GPs armed with Kris’ story. And yes Kris writes about her cancer. Diagnosed at 23 - and isn’t that the ‘turd’ of the title - after a series of terrible missed opportunities/ mis-diagnoses which meant that her eventual diagnosis had a ‘terminal’ label. With some extraordinary writing and brutal honesty, Kris’ story never lingers on tragedy. Instead, we are offered humour, motivation and hope. This doesn’t read like a book about someone living with a terminal disease. Instead, it is a manifesto for how to be alive. It will leave you calm, hopeful and unafraid. A bold reminder to live your life your way. You’ll be endlessly inspired by her perspective’ Glitter has come under fire recently for its environmental impacts but when used in a controlled veterinary context, it's safe for animals and the environment.Find our further details about Cariad’s book, you are not alone as well as links to Grief Cast at - www.cariadlloyd.com But it’s also not clear that taking the glitter pills will guarantee a toilet bowl full of festive twinkle.
