About this deal

Some other songs that I usually play are those by Alan Walker or any EDM type of songs. Sometimes you can also find some bass boosted songs on YouTube which I did try on this Creative Muvo Go speaker. It held up quite well. It is a good outdoor Bluetooth speaker that you can get at an affordable price. A blue LED means Bluetooth, yellow means MP3 player, purple USB and green aux input. The Creative Muvo 2C automatically uses Bluetooth when first switched on, so if you’re using the standard mode you don’t have to think about this Mode button too much. So would I recommend this Creative Muvo Go Bluetooth speaker? Yes I would. Even my wife approves of it. She said that it was really easy for her to pair up with her phone and she is not that tech savvy. If she can do it, I’m sure it would be easy for anyone else too. Plus, it sounds good. Good enough that it is subtle, yet immersive. My personal opinion, it is my go to speaker when I’m relaxing in my mancave. The Creative Stage Air V2 is considered as a soundbar, so that is not within the same class as the Creative Muvo Go. That soundbar is attached to my SmartTV and it’s wonderful. You can treat the Muvo 2 as a simple Bluetooth unit, but it can also act as a USB soundcard/laptop speaker and an MP3 player. There are six rubber control buttons on the top, and the “M” switches between modes, including these extras.

To produce such sounds, the Creative Muvo Go is powered by a dual full-range Neodymium driver that delivers full-bodied, remarkable audio with powerful bass of up to 20W (40W peak), all made possible in combination with dual passive bass radiators. Even that sounded impressive to me.The UE Wonderboom comes across more polished, prettier and more rugged thanks to its weaved nylon grille. On the other end, the Bose Soundlink Mini 2 and Jam Heavy Metal seem more impressive because they have metal shells. The most forward-looking speakers have NFC (Near Field Communication) Bluetooth technology, which typically means that you can have the music player (phone, tablet or laptop) up to 10m away from the speaker. Since the bass is rather strong, when I place the Creative Muvo Go on my table and blast at full volume, the vibrations caused by the speaker are close to none. Logically, I would anticipate some vibrations caused by high volume and punchy bass but I guess due to the weight and solid build, it does not vibrate at all. Just fyi, I prefer to place the Creative Muvo Go speaker horizontally on my table instead of vertically. Unlike most small speakers with a single drive unit, it doesn’t become “shouty” or more harsh, and the passive radiator only distorts in extreme situations. Single passive radiators are prone to a sort of farting noise as they strain against their limit if not engineered properly. The Creative Muvo 2C doesn’t do this, no matter how hard the radiator is worked.

This speaker delivers clear and balanced sound, creating an immersive listening experience. It is equipped with powerful drivers, ensuring accurate and detailed audio reproduction. Even at maximum volume the Muvo 2 sounds composed, not at all “shouty” or harsh, and the bass radiator does not distort. This can sometimes happen when the driver hasn’t been designed properly and the diaphragm ends up moving too far. As fine as the Muvo 2 looks, Creative speakers suit those who care more about a speaker’s insides than its outsides. If you look at recommended retail prices rather than actual prices online, there’s very little that can touch the Creative Muvo 2 in terms of pure substance per dollar/pound. For the way we use speakers, the USB functionality is the most useful. Just plug the Muvo 2 into your laptop using the charge cable and you can select the box as the sound output, as you might do with an external soundcard.

Final Thoughts

The Creative Muvo 2c uses the classic driver array for a small Bluetooth speaker. There are two little active drivers across its front, and a passive radiator in-between powered by the output of those drivers.
