We often have a lot more going on in our head than we ever let anyone know. He may seem like a standoffish guy to the rest of the world but to those he truly cares about he would do absolutely anything, including dying hair. i'm actually embarrassed by how long it took me to read this 💀 it's a shame because i really enjoyed the couple's interactions, but any scene that didn't involve the two of them felt like a chore to read 😩This book irritated me to no end. This story has all of the hallmarks of a Reid book, however, it did tend to focus much on details of the ideas and processes Ms. Reid wanted us to be aware of. I would say the romance was a bit of a slow-burn, but this fact only fuelled the intensity and complexity of the romantic relationship. This is where Byron comes in. Byron is a mutual friend of Winnies, as he is close with her best friend and roommate. He’s a grouch and keeps to himself . He’s a best selling author so he has a job where he can be broody and not people. He and Winnie have never gotten along well, but they decide to do the trends together. And a friendship grows from there.
