About this deal

We do know that the early Christians buried their most precious scrolls beneath Herod's temple shortly before they and that city were destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. If you think that the results are probably similar, regardless of which method you use, well it depends on where in the world you’re standing and where you want to go. The Hiram Key. Pharaohs, Freemasons and the discovery of the secret scrolls of Jesus. Christopher Knight & Robert Lomas. Arrow Books Limited, London: 1997 [first published Century Books Random House: 1996] ISBN 0 09 917562 2. The “lost secrets of Freemasonry” in part refer to the lost king-making rituals at the time of Seqenenre Tao’s ascension, lost due to his assassination. The Hiram Key: Pharaohs, Freemasonry, and the Discovery of the Secret Scrolls of Jesus, [1] is a 1996 book by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas. The authors, both Freemasons, present a theory of the origins of Freemasonry as part of their "true story" of the historical Jesus and the original Jerusalem Church. The blow came from the front of the King and to his left side. Injury to the Left Side of the Skull Base Description One widely held theory is that Freemasonry evolved out of guilds of stonemasons. Traditional Masonic ritual claims that one of the first Freemasons was Hiram Abiff, a widow's son from the tribe of Naphtali, who was the Architect of King Solomon's Temple. His name has never been recorded as such historically, although there is a similar character in the Old Testament of the Bible, who is not named, but is described as a widow's son, in the First Book of Kings. The Book Of Hiram: Freemasonry, Venus and the Secret Key to the Life of Jesus. Element Books Ltd. (25 January 2004). ISBN 978-0-00-717468-3 It is known that Rosslyn Chapel was never used by the family as a chapel — there was a family chapel in the castle — so the authors hypothesize that the chapel was built to house the Nasorean/Qumranian scrolls found by Hugh de Payen under the last Temple at Jerusalem. No proof for this theory is provided. They refer to this unproven theory as accepted fact in subsequent passages. The authors claim that the Master Mason’s words phonetically translate in Egyptian: "Ma'at-neb-men-ae, Ma'at-ba-aa". "Great is the established Master of Freemasonry, Great is the spirit of Freemasonry." This may be the Master Mason’s word in the lodge that the authors were initiated into, but Freemasonry has had such a long oral transmission of certain parts of the ritual that to draw any phonetic link between a much mangled 17th century word and an ancient Egyptian phrase that we have only a best-guess pronunciation of, is either false etymology or willful self-delusion. No proof for this theory is provided. They refer to this unproven theory as accepted fact in subsequent passages.

Without getting too technical here, there are two approaches, the first lending itself more to the calculation of the distance between two points, and the second being more useful as a navigational tool, as in a compass. Although historically there is little if any record of exactly how de Molay was tortured, Lomas and Knight have no doubt. Very shortly after his arrest France's Grand Inquisitor Guillaume Imbert put him through a blow-by-blow re- enactment of Jesus's crucifixion. First he was scourged. Then a crown of thorns was thrust on his head. Then nails were hammered into his wrists and feet, pinning him to 'a roughly assembled cross', on which he was hung in agony for several hours. Brought down alive, a knife was then thrust into his side 'not deep enough to cause life-threatening damage but sufficient to complete the deliberate re-enactment of the suffering of the 'son of God'. I read this book with no initial information about it, it was a swap with a friend while traveling. The book was very interesting with lots of information on historical events and religion and how it progressed. I enjoyed the book when I got towards the end of the first section as it was then I started to understand what it was about. The book looking into masonic ritual and writes a timeline of history, it tries to explain some of the historical mysteries such as the star of Bethlehem and the origins of the great builders in the areas including and surrounding Jerusalem. I found some interesting facts dotted throughout but I do realize this book wasn't really meant for me.Formed out of a disliking of what the Goth scene had evolved in to, the Hiram Key set out to cure the genre with music that they themselves wanted to listen to. It was not purely a selfish motive, as part of their masterplan is to show the teeny-marker-pen-goths how to wear their make up properly and, more importantly, how to play REAL instruments. The English Indochine? Outside of his academic specialities, Lomas has written on various topics, such as the Neolithic period, archaeoastronomy, ancient mysteries, stone monuments, and megaliths, and on astronomical and astrological topics, as well as the history, ritual, and spiritual journey of Freemasonry.

It seems that Seqenenre was well-prepared for the war against Hyksos as he founded the huge military fortress at Deir el-Ballas. He probably took the provocation of Hyksos King as a justification to declare war. When compared to CT scanning of other ancient Egyptian warriors with great military reputations, such as Thutmose III and Ramesses II, only Seqenenre had severe injuries inflicted by weapons ( 17). Such injuries suggest that Seqenenre was on the front line, risking his life to liberate Egypt. Seqenenre's death motivated his successors to continue the fight to unify Egypt and start the New Kingdom. Conclusion A heavy sharp object like a sword or an ax. The blow was most likely fatal. Position of the Assailant Freemasons are active to this day, but were particularly active during the founding years of our nation (several of the founding fathers were Freemasons) Returning to the unanswered questions of The Hiram Key, best-selling author Robert Lomas, uses newly available information to uncover the roles of Viking Pirate kings, Pretenders to the Crown of Scotland, Custodians of Holy Relics and Political Opportunists to reveal an unexpected story. Remember, the Temple’s sole purpose was to provide a home for the Ark of the Covenant, which housed the tablets of the 10 Commandments, and rather obscurely, the “Name of God”. It’s been a common theme on The Curse of Oak Island, with many theorists claiming that the Ark is buried on the island and was hidden there by the Knights Templar.

Ethics Statement I really enjoy their theory and think it would be cool if a genuine history of thousands of years for Masonry could be proven. For now, I'll accept it as a nice little fantasy that is fun to think about but is not grounded in any evidence close to certain. In reality, the "history " they weave is built on a great deal of speculation, combined with hints at evidence. Like many pseudo-historians, however, they mistake evidence for proof. Many of their threads can easily have gone in other directions while they are adamant that they can be only interpreted in one way. They're fond of taking evidence which is coincidence and assigning a "cause and effect" relationship where there is none. On a few occasions they made statements like "coincidence can definitely be ruled out" without supporting why it can be.

The Knights Templar, discovering the Qumran communities' records in the vaults under the Temple in Jerusalem, transported them to Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland. Moses merged this event with Sumerian and Egyptian mythology, symbols and philosophy, to create a putative 'royal line'.For certainly there is no known definitive image of Jacques de Molay, the closest to this being a merely near-contemporary depiction of his burning at the stake, with Geoffrey de Charney, from the British Museum's Royal manuscript 20 C VII (see above). And whichever of the two stake victims in this may be intended as De Molay - and we can merely guess that it is the bearded one - it is not only quite different from the Knight and Lomas version, there is also absolutely no certainty that the artist had any direct knowledge of De Molay's one-time appearance. A transverse cut fracture of the squamous part of the right temporal bone runs parallel and about 5 mm inferior to the parieto-temporal suture. It joins anteriorly with the fractured sphenoid and extends posteriorly for about 55 mm. The fracture is 5–6 mm wide with a short central constriction that measures about 2 mm. A short vertical fracture 23 mm in length extends caudally from the anterior edge of the fracture. Suggested Weapon
