About this deal

Two squads of three highly customisable Tyranid Warriors provide an adaptable, formidable core to claim the Ark. Meanwhile, eight fast-moving Genestealers – fielded as a squad of five – act as an insidious vanguard to a towering Broodlord. Notably almost everything here is a new or recent sculpt – save for the Flash Gitz, who will be showing their age when put next to the rest of the box. That likely won’t bother Ork players – after all, they’re all ugly beautiful in their own way. Here’s the value breakdown of the two new Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrol boxes for Orks and Tau with Farsight and Snikrot inside! Next up are the T'au Crisis Battlesuits. These suits are tough, heavily armed, and have a 10" movement speed (with flying), making them an extremely mobile unit for such heavy firepower. I absolutely love building these units, as there's some room to pose their arms in a variety of ways for great flexibility of visual style. They also look so cool flanked by their small horde of drones, which can be kitted out to be Shield Drones, Gun Drones, or Marker Drones.

This new model of Snikrot definitely has a more aggressive pose than the old model, more in line with what you’d expect from an Ork! Keen-eyed hobbyists have probably noticed that rumor engine bit on his base as well. The complete list of what’s available is as follows – all cast in metal: Armageddon Steel Legion Officer with Power Sword, Armageddon Steel Legion Officer with Power Sword and Bolt Pistol, Armageddon Steel Legion Commissar, Armageddon Steel Legion Sergeant, Armageddon Steel Legion Infantry Squad, Armageddon Steel Legion Guardsman with Plasma Gun, Armageddon Steel Legion Heavy Bolter Weapons Team, and Armageddon Steel Legion Lascannon Heavy Weapons Team. Boarding Patrol: Orks provides a brutal and kunnin’ force, perfectly suited to crushing ‘oomies and aliens alike in games of Warhammer 40,000 – especially in the dense and deadly Boarding Action missions detailed in the Arks of Omen series – and will save you money compared to buying the kits individually. This is a show you won’t want to miss – and with reveals this exciting, you’ll have no trouble staying up. In fact, we need some time to recover ourselves, so unfortunately there’ll be no Hang Out and Paint this week. The show will return next week! Alongside these, the Space Marine Boarding Patrol that’s out now, and the three further sets recently announced for the Necrons, Tyranids, and Grey Knights, there are even more boxes to come for other factions in the 41st Millennium.

The Aeldari know a thing or two about spacefaring and close-quarters combat, and bring these skills to bear in a Boarding Patrol that contains 20 Corsair Voidscarred, which can also be built as Voidreavers, and five Howling Banshees, led by the legendary Phoenix Lord Jain Zar. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari

Masterful melee murderers and cramped corridors with lots of nooks and crannies to hide in – can you name a better match? Boarding Patrol: Drukhari contains 20 Wyches, five Incubi, a Succubus, and therefore more deadly blades than you can shake a splinter rifle at. Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights Last seen on Armageddon, this clandestine killer has recently been spotted on the Arks of Omen, his approach heralded only by the ominous whine of his trademark night vision goggles activating in the dark. Sign up for the Warhammer Community newsletter to find out when these boxed sets are heading to release, and get ready to battle for the galaxy’s fate in the latest season of Matched Play. Tactically, boarding actions lists are all about navigating the new challenges of a space ship – and each mission brings fresh challenges,” Rich adds. “For example, which unit will you walk through a furnace to score Victory Points, and which unit do you task with guarding the OFF switch for said furnace? Building your ideal Boarding Patrol is the first of many decisions you’ll need to make.”This is another meat-and-potatoes box. Nothing fancy here just the basics. That’s not a bad thing! The Necrons can get the job done without getting super flashy. In a Boarding Action game, this box can do work. Lychguard shine in cramped spaces while the warriors take objectives and lay down decent firepower. The Ophydian Destroyers are plenty fast, too. Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing. Bring the light of the Emperor to the void with Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas, scouring the Arks of Omen with bolt, flame, and melta. A devout Canoness leads five Celestian Sacresants, 10 Sisters Repentia, and 10 Battle Sisters into the breach, making this a durable fighting force with plenty of power armour and some chainsword punch. On a full-size battlefield, Snikrot can bring more of his buddies along for a sneaky stab-a-thon. Is a Blood Axe army even a Blood Axe army if it’s not maximising its Kommandos?
