About this deal

I need the Tin Man to oil the hinges on my door just as much as I need the Lion's bravery. I'm shaking like a leaf. EDIT: I am reducing my rating because it gave people the wrong impression. I do not support Zade’s character. He is a hypocrite and a rapist. I did enjoy this duet for the writing and the story. This part especially traumatised me but I couldn’t stop reading it.

And just like she said “only a monster can create another monster” so she becomes one to get her revenge. As she should. The worst thing about this book, for me, is how overly corny it is in its attempt to justify itself. The plot itself was interesting. There was a lot of intrigue going on and the smut made my pussy throb and my sheets soaked. I couldn’t stop reading it chapter after chapter. If it wasn’t for my new meds, I would’ve finished the book in 2 days. It seems every day, my appreciation for Daya grows. She gave me a sense of safety I didn’t realize I was missing. I’m going to have to propose to her soon or something."This review contains minor spoilers, nothing unpredictable or what you haven’t already seen on booktok. But I’m still warning you. With some explicit violence and sexual material, the series is dark and edgy. Trigger warnings are also included. There are mentions of murder, drug abuse, and suicide in these. In this narrative, Adeline must deal with loss and trauma. The novel is engaging with strong character development and an intriguing premise. I face him, eyeing him closely. He’s relaxed into his seat, his long legs spread, one hand draped over the wheel and the other resting on the armrest between us. Her self-awareness doesn't make me like her more. Why is it necessary to have a clueless, idiot as the fmc, eugh. Lastly, I talked about Adeline, but I have to mention that "Shadow" is also an excellent character; well fleshed-out, with just the right mix of darkness and light, not quite a jerk but not nice either, I love it all! The narration too.... Teddy Hamilton has always been excellent but gosh, he's stellar in this book, as is Michelle Sparks. You can't get better narrators than these two, truly.

Haunting Adeline’s spice rating is 5/5 stars, as it has numerous open door romance scenes. Haunting Adeline Spicy Chapters List The vigilante stuff was pretty fun, though it would have been better if the hero’s reason for risking his life wasn’t just ‘cause I like to kill bad people’. Also, do I give a shit about the heroine’s murdered grannie? Not at all, yet trying to figure out who the killer is, is a large part of this book. Like - you lose me completely there. I will not be manipulated by "okay he does this to her but look at all the girls and women he's saving!! Look how disgusted he is by older men who aren't hot like him preying on women!!!" It just makes the whole thing awful for me. I'd rather he was just a billionaire businessman, I'd be fine with most of it then LOLOne thing Haunting Adeline is known for is its spicy chapters. But, soon it wasn’t just the spice that had readers invested in the storyline and rooting for the characters but also it’s mysterious plot. Adeline is someone I liked instantly. She has life to her, personality but the only thing that kind of bugged me a bit was how questionable her life choices were at times. Seriously, the girl had a death wish. Are we really surprised by the ending?🥲

If you enjoyed this one, take a gander to my next standalone, Does It Hurt? It's an enemies to lovers psych thriller, and I'm so very excited for you to meet Enzo and Sawyer! Readers loved how the author writes morally grey characters, so Zade turned out to be Booktok choice of book boyfriend. I haven’t sent a nude since I was twenty. I take nudes because I like my body and want to stare at it all day.” Not only that, but the writing lately in many dark romance books.... it's been awful, in my opinion. The cringe-worthy lines I've been hearing have actually caused me to literally roll my eyes and stop listening to books because they were just that stupid and even uncomfortable. This one is not like any of those, in my opinion, with writing that had me enraptured. The sexy scenes make you flush just listening to them and by no means feel cringy in any way. I may be putting it on a pedestal, but I can't find it in myself to care. I'm just so glad to have found this book, it was just what I wanted and was looking for but unable to find until now.Good girl,” he breathes. “Open wider, baby.” The hand still holding my thong to the side nudges against my thigh. Without thought, my thighs instinctively fall further apart.

But one of the hard limits is trying to excuse the behavior, and that's what this book does at every turn. EDIT: I am reducing my rating because I feel like it gave people the wrong impression. I do not like nor support that rapist everyone thinks is a romantic, I liked it for the writing and vibes only. Zade can eat shit. I only liked some of his lines but not his actions. Idk why he is so praised when he’s a hypocrite😭 Unexpectedly, The Shadow discovers himself falling deeply in love, a sentiment he never planned on encountering. Nevertheless, now that he has, he cannot resist the magnetic force that pulls him closer to her. Captivated by her smile, her gaze, and her every gesture, he watches and waits patiently, harboring a scheme to make her his own. Once he achieves this objective, he vows to hold her steadfastly, promising not to release her even if she implores him to do so. OKAY OKAY IM GETTING DISTRACTED BECAUSE THIS SCENE WHTH THE OM WAS GOOD FOR NO REASON. Zade interrupts the moment by banging on the door and luring Archie outside… where he kidnaps and proceeds to torture and murder him💞 Once again, no one does it like Harley Laroux. I can't wait for her to release the third book of the trilogy aaa!!

And I did. Except I loved one of the stories. The one with the dark anti hero stalking and getting closer to his victim. The haunting, the mystery. I loved the Dubious Consent thing. before i get into it, yes this book is more triggering than the first. like 10x over not even joking. there are very graphic scenes that isn’t meant for the faint of heart. tread carefully, your mental health matters. there’s a list of the full TWs in the beginning of the book as well. Pedophelia is one of the worst crimes out there but… The books idea about how pedofile rings work are just weird and wrong in so many ways. (Look, I’ve worked with these issues!!!) The novel is a grand saga of family, love, and tragedy, written with the author’s gift for developing engaging storylines and characters. See more ideas about books, Adeline and Fyp. Hunting Adeline Series As much as I hate to say this to you, I am no stranger to a woman's pussy and what it feels like when it weeps for me."
