About this deal

Bloodcrushers of Khorne · Chaos Knights of Tzeentch · Heartseekers of Slaanesh · Hellstriders of Slaanesh · Hellstriders of Slaanesh (Hellscourges) · Pox Riders of Nurgle · Seekers of Slaanesh · Skullcrushers of Khorne Basically, this is a sweet book that means very well and has its moments of sunshine. But it could have been so much more had it been handled differently. I don’t know how I would have felt about this had I read it, but I know that the audiobook was certainly a wonderful way of getting to know this story.

A Keeper of Secrets, known also as a " Slayer of Slaanesh," a " Feaster of Pain, a " Silencer of Lies" [4a], a " Base One," and a " Great Horned One," is the fast, agile, horrific and ultimately alluring Greater Daemon of Slaanesh. They are ruiners of purity, despoiler of the faithful and a harbinger of damnation to all that face them. It draws strength from the moral corruption of others, and feasts upon sin and excess as a mortal might sup fine wines and sweetmeats. [1b] This extraordinary kit allows you to construct your very own Keeper of Secrets, offering an array of customization options to make each one unique. Choose from a selection of heads, weapons, and impaling claws, ensuring that each monstrous creation stands apart from the others on the battlefield. Furthermore, this versatile kit also provides you with the opportunity to assemble the Daemon hero Shalaxi Helbane, offering even more possibilities for your forces of Slaanesh. What’s in the Keeper of Secrets box Bloodletters of Khorne · Blue Horrors of Tzeentch · Chaos Warriors of Khorne · Chaos Warriors of Khorne (Dual Weapons) · Chaos Warriors of Khorne (Halberds) · Daemonettes of Slaanesh · Exalted Bloodletters of Khorne · Exalted Daemonettes of Slaanesh · Exalted Plaguebearers of Nurgle · Forsaken of Nurgle · Forsaken of Tzeentch · Devoted Marauders of Slaanesh · Devoted Marauders of Slaanesh (Spears) · Devoted Marauders of Slaanesh (Hellscourges) · Nurglings · Plaguebearers of Nurgle The closer the Daemon comes, the more pronounced its effects. The artist paints with his own blood, the poet claws out his own eyes just to see what true darkness is like, the singer chokes and drowns on the lyrics as she struggles to be free from her imperfect throat. As the world softens, assuming warm colours and gentle, rounded, glistening forms, blades sharpen, emotions run hot, and madness flares in the mind. [2a] For some time now Janice has been collecting stories. She is a cleaner and she overhears lots of conversations because she is virtually invisible. It does not help that she has a husband of a thousand jobs. He is always coming up with hair-brained schemes as he eats into their savings mostly without even discussing it. He always refers to her as “just a cleaner” her job does not define her. With all these stories there is one story she neglects to think about is her own. Thus begins the narrative, effectively capturing the personality of lead character Janice, a woman in her late 40s who works as a cleaner in other people’s homes. Janice relishes others' stories and has a fondness for collecting them, not for gossip but to feel like she's part of their stories and gets to know them better. When she gets a new job cleaning for Mrs. B, a shrewd and formidable lady in her 90s, Janice finally meets someone who wants to know her (Janice’s) story and what she’s hiding beneath that effective cleaner façade. Will Janice share the story that she has kept buried for so long?

MY THOUGHTS: I love to sit in cafès listening to the conversations going on around me. Sometimes it's amazing what you overhear. That may be why this book really resonated with me. Janice and I have a lot in common. We both collect stories, although she is far better at it than I am. And my practice husband, as I like to refer to him, and her husband Mike, could be twins. N'Kisha - In the starless gloom of the Noctis Aeterna, Craftworld Iyanden is invaded for the second time by the forces of Chaos since the birth of the Great Rift. Hoping to replicate the Masque of Slaanesh's success during the Battle of Biel-Tan, the Slaaneshi Keeper of Secrets N'Kisha uses the Warp rift's power to breach the craftworld. The Daemons are repelled at the last, however, as Aeldari reinforcements arrive from all corners of the Webway, including Drukhari, Ynnari, Harlequins and warhosts from every major Asuryani craftworld.

N'Kari was also a primary antagonist in a trilogy of novels written by William King set in the original Warhammer Fantasy universe focused on the High Elf twins Tyrion and Teclis. Those few brave mortals who would face up to a Keeper of Secrets must be unusually pure of heart and mind, for such a monster is surrounded by many seductive enchantments that lull the conscious will and deaden the senses. Many heroes have been unable to resist their own primal urges and desires while the Greater Daemon of Slaanesh toys with them, dismembering them with exhilarating delicacy and precision. Keepers of Secrets have no fear of pain or injury themselves, and every sensation, be it painful or pleasurable, provokes from it only exhilarated squeals and cries that assail not only the senses, but also the fundamental pillars of reason itself.
