She rushed into it's direction, and discovered... a little Niffler who looked like one of Newt's, more precisely the one she had named. It couldn't be a coincidence ! There weren't Nifflers in the USA, they were British creatures, and she had left Newt less than 30 minutes ago. She made sure to hold on the creature right, and then cancelled her charm. Tina Goldstein missed Newt. She missed him deeply. She couldn't believe she had skipped her chance in Paris. He was there, and she had just managed to yell at him. She tried to convince herself she had her reasons. That was true in a way. But she had lost her only chance in one year to spend time with him, for real. And now, she was alone. She had lost Queenie, and Newt was on the other side of the Ocean. Jacob didn't want to talk to her anymore (not they had talked a lot since the events in the subway), and Lally was more than busy at Ilvermorny. She didn't have a lot of sleeping hours left, due to the wedding party, and her late reading, but she slept well. She slept well because a tiny little Niffler had opened her crate, and came nesting to her chest when she heard the Auror grumble durin g her sleep.

However, there were instances where Nifflers could get pretty vicious, as was the case when a Niffler tried to get the rings off of Dolores Umbridge’s fingers.
