Compliments: First time I wore it (I was actually out of the store after buying this with this scent on me and sprayed a bit more) I got to meet my friends and got tones of compliments on my smell (from guys and girls, EVERYONE SMELLED THIS and a guy that doesn't usually give compliments asked me "YOU SMELL GOOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING??"). I just sprayed it on my skin and now I understand what people meant by salty-oceany vibes. It’s pretty decent on my skin. Nothing amazing. It just smells like this weird synthetic note mixed with vanilla and sweetness. First of all, the bottle is simply gorgeous! I can't remember another one, that was this stunning from the last few years. Legend is delicious. Like others have noted, it’s somewhat reminiscent of sun tan lotion on the beach. Coconutty. Vanilla or plum cake. It’s so warm and cozy but not overly sweet. It’s a bit hard to describe but I can see myself wearing this as my signature. For reference my other favorite signature scents are Thierry Mugler - Alien and Viktor&Rolf - Bon Bon so if you like those you’ll probably enjoy this scent.

The longevity of this is really good, I can smell it at least 12 hours on my skin. And I find that this is a strong perfume, it projects a lot so I have to spray mindfully when I wear this. This is amazing and so unique! It’s a very syrupy summer gourmand fragrance. If I smelt this blindly I would assume it was a niche fragrance because it’s so creative and not your ordinary everyday scent😍 I definitely get the menthol or camphor note some people are noting. It's almost like...off to the sides. It's very symmetrical somehow. It...burns a little? Like it wants to give me a headache, but I don't want to let it. Sillage and Longevity: At first in the opening it can be very strong for people who have strong sense of smell. The sillage is very good at the first two hours, thought the longevity is pretty ok, i wish it was better. after few hours the sillage is not as strong as the beginning, it kinda becomes a skin scent, and its kinda why i dont wear it anymore (but you know sillage and longevity kinda changes from a person to another so just try it on your skin and see for yourself). You can wear it through the day, at the evening with friends, any season (it's very fruity-floral so its good for springsummer, but also its strong so you can also wear it on winter and fall and it will fit well).

Olympéa Classic

I will persist!!! And the REASON I will persist... is because when I wore it, and I wore it to work, I got major compliments, and the scent sillage and longevity was real.

This is basically a fall to winter based fragrance but I sprayed it yesterday just to know that how long it lasts on my skin and clothes in summer time . It stayed on my clothes for 12-13 hours with first 3 hours of heavy projection and then it became moderate and for last 3-4 hours its became a skin scent but the person beside you can still get the smell. It stays more on my clothes in winter .I feel a lot of Pepper that makes him burning and interesting, also sensual and voracious as each movement is performed. It smells slightly of dirt issues from the presence of Flor da Laranjeira, but it is so slight the feeling that there is no way to stop supporting and moving on, everything always, in it, very intense as it is described in the box and bottle. UPDATE: okay, know you. Sometimes I don’t like it and sometimes I do. It’s starting to grow on me. It’s like...bronzed warm skin..I'm starting to crave this! This scent is getting harder and harder to find in US stores, which is kind of sad since it's one of the most unique vanilla scents on the market. I used up one of my 5 ml samples of Olympéa and I am halfway through my second one. The most prominent notes in Olympéa are the salt and vanilla, but the vanilla isn't edible to my nose. It's more like a fresh vanilla (which is probably why I was getting air freshener the first time). The jasmine is soft all throughout. I don't get any ginger or mandarin. The longevity of this scent it pretty strong. I do 2 sprays and I can smell it for 6+ hours on my skin. I also find that this scent does well in both super hot and super cold weather. Like I mentioned, I wear it on vacation but I have also worn it on nights out in the winter time. It's just a super versatile scent.

I can truly recommend this fragrance. I don't get the people that say that it's just so so so so sweet. It's sweet and can be overwhelming in the begging ONLY (for me), but not because of its sweetness, but because of the ambar and salt-sweet mix. It makes it heavy to wear at the beginning and kind of a confusing fragrance, that grows into the skin and becomes a masterpiece.I know this smell!! as soon as i smelled it. possibly similarities to Tresor Love Midnight? Not the same smell but there was a note in there.. I prefer the Tresor. My favorite times to wear this is either early summer mornings when it is still cool and crisp, or mild and breezy spring days. When I wear this under these conditions, I get a beautiful, airy and almost aquatic jasmine scent supported by a very unique type of vanilla that reminds me of warm sand, with a slightly salty note. This feels like sitting on a warm sandy beach, overlooking the ocean and the breeze brings floral scents from afar which mixes beautifully with the salt and sand. I especially enjoy wearing this in airy and breezy conditions, catching whiffs of this perfume from a gentle breeze around you is fantastic. I have only used it today, applied a little bit in the morning to try it, and more generously after lunch. I'm not in my best moment these days because of my allergy, so I can not smell it a lot, BUT it clearly still smells at 8pm. It lasts like the original version, but I still don't know about the sillage, because I didn't put as much as I do with the rest of my fragrances just in case I didn't like it. However, my most resentful feeling about this fragrance is how faint it is after the first 40 minutes. I don’t find this one long lasting AT ALL. I can’t believe others do. Really pisses me off because I love the fragrance itself so much. Maybe it’s nose blindness. Not sure. Despite that breeze, Godzilla’s 100 foot tall Yankee Candle is really going now. And because of the breeze, it is now wafting gales of fruity tobacco compote fumes, so powerful you can see it in the air like a heat mirage all over Tokyo. People all over the city start to faint and/or vomit en masse. Chaos ensues. Godzilla takes another hit from his cigar and shrieks noisily with delight! A jolly day at the beach.
