When thinking of fashion colors, you want to be careful not to choose a color that will wash you out. Those with cool undertones have to be a little more careful and may look best with more pastel varieties, while those with warmer undertones can be a little bolder with deep, vibrant colors. Let’s look at some of the base colors and what undertone they’d be best on: Yes! Pulp Riot is designed for artists, so every shade toner is intermixable allowing you to create a custom hue that is as unique as your client is. My absolute favourite formula is 6-1 & -22 from the Faction8 range mixed with 6vol 1:2. This creates the perfect violet, and my clients are absolutely obsessed! My Favourite formula is Clear mixed with a few drops of Fireballto create the most offensively bright neon pink. It’s a real show stopper!

My favourite formula is vibrant blue shades. I used to pre-tone after a scalp bleach before mixing blue, but it always had a tiny shade of green underneath the surface. Instead, I found that if I just mix a purple/pink colour with the blue, that one will work as a pre-toner, contrasting the warmth completely and, consequently, no greenish shades at the end. So the result will be a pure, vibrant blue. Shades can be mixed with each other to create custom colours and clear can be used to dilute colours to make them lighter/pastelised Long-Lasting Results: Wondering how long does Pulp Riot Semi permanent color last? While the duration may vary depending on factors such as hair porosity, maintenance routine, and color application technique, generally, Pulp Riot Semis can last up to 6-8 weeks.
