This release for VB1, B2B and B3 fixes a problem with the new Sonos Era speakers. (We have only tested Era 100.) Set the path to the Brennan B2 music folder. You can use Browse - you will find it under the network folder. Save the playlists to USB A. This function only saves the list - not the music. These are text files and you could edit them with care. CD players have several layers of error detection and correction. You will sometimes hear the B3 slow down if it has difficulty reading a CD.

BBC is introducing a new internet radio system called HLS and the old streams will terminate in 2023. Radiofeeds has augmented its list of 1000+ stations to support these new HLS stations. After the software upgrade you should use Settings->Radio Update to get the new list. You can then find the new stations using Find Stations.Bluetooth In - play music from your mobile phone or tablet through B3 - nothing to do on B3 just connect on your phone/tablet and play. The Sonos will then spend quite a few minutes a ridiculously long time indexing the Brennan B2 - don’t worry it doesn’t do it every time. Make a cup of coffee. If you have a lot of music make a meal. You don’t need to connect to Wifi to play music and videos but you need Wifi for some functions like internet radio, the web UI, getting the time and transferring music from a computer. NAS (Network Attached Storage) facility - lets you see the Brennan hard disk contents on a computer. B2 and B2B have both been updated to include the new Radiofeeds list and the change to the web UI presets panel. After upgrading the software you should load the new Radiofeeds list using Settings > Radio Update This has the advantage that you can then rip CDs without an internet connection. The offline database also contains a copy of an older database known as Freedb so you might find it can identify a CD that is not in Musicbrainz.
