About this deal

Sizes: Men's 4.5 to 14.5, Women's 5.5 to 15.5 | Arch Type: High | Anti-Odor: Yes | Materials: Polyurethane foam, gel, plastic | Our Overall Rating: 4.8/5 The insoles are also contoured, providing stability and adding extra support to the feet, ankles and knees, while the heels are curved into a horseshoe shape, which cradles the foot while still remaining flexible. This allows the insole to move with your foot, adding to the comfort, stability and support they provide. Supreme Comfort: These insoles are designed with user comfort in mind. The gel material molds to the unique shape of your feet, offering a personalized and snug fit, ensuring you feel like you're walking on air with every step. We love that PowerStep's Original Insoles earned the APMA's Seal of Approval. However, the arch support was so high that it made the toe boxes of our shoes feel tight. Sizes: Men's 7-14, Women's 5.5-12.5 | Arch Type: Neutral | Anti-Odor: Yes | Materials: EVA foam | Our Overall Rating: 5/5

These insoles aren't very breathable, causing our feet to feel warm and sweaty. However, we think the trade-off is worth it, as these insoles allowed us to walk for full days in shoes that were previously too uncomfortable to wear. Since these insoles are so thin, they're not very supportive. But we found they make a great replacement insole for well-loved pairs of shoes. While we love that these insoles conform to your specific foot shape, we noticed that it takes a few wears (up to 10 hours, according to the brand) before they soften and change shape. Premium Material: Frido spares no expense in using high-quality materials that not only provide superior comfort but also boast exceptional durability. The gel material retains its cushioning properties for an extended period, even under regular use.Arch Support: The amount of arch support you need in an insole depends on your foot type and any conditions you might have. The right arch support can help relieve pain from flat feet, fallen arches, and high arches. Hummer says it can even reduce knee pain by gently correcting your feet and promoting proper alignment. Look for insoles with arch support that's firm enough, so they don't flatten out when you step on them, says Valencia, but not so firm that they're uncomfortable or cause your feet to cramp. The insoles are designed to fit most shoes as users can just trim the insoles to the appropriate size. The heavy-duty construction of the insoles makes them a long-lasting and sturdy choice. These insoles may be too narrow if you have wide feet. However, this means you likely won't have to trim them to get them to fit in your boots. Sizes: 5 to 15 (Unisex) | Arch Type: High, neutral, low | Anti-Odor: Yes | Materials: Recycled plastic, foam, synthetic | Our Overall Rating: 4.7/5

Unlike some of the other products we tried, these insoles can be used as they are or heat-moulded in the oven at home for a personalised fit. We thought we’d give the do-it-yourself version a go, and were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. We started by trimming the top of the insoles to shape using a pair of scissors. We then heated the insoles for five minutes at 80C, popped them in our trainers and walked for five minutes as they cooled to shape them (the brand also has a handy YouTube video you can watch for extra tips).Best Running Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis | Best Running Shoes | Best Recovery Shoes for Runners | Best Walking Shoes | Best Shoes for Standing All Day Activity: Another deciding factor in what insoles will work best is what they’ll be used for. High-impact activities, like many sports, will require different insoles to low-impact activities, such as a long shift in retail. Other considerations For those dealing with plantar fasciitis, or painful irritation in your plantar fascia tissue, we recommend Walk-Hero's Comfort and Support Plantar Fasciitis Insoles. They helped revamp our old shoes, correcting overpronation while reducing the pain and pressure we felt in our arches. We also like the deep heel cup, which offers great stability. Arch: It’s important to match the insole with your arch type – whether you have high arches, natural/medium arches, or low/fallen/flat arches – otherwise you risk further problems with your feet.

Sizes: Women's 4.5 to 12 | Arch Type: Low | Anti-Odor: Yes | Materials: Foam | Our Overall Rating: 4.8/5 The Powerstep Pinnacle are the best insoles we tested for helping remedy foot pain due to pronation. The most common pronation issues are overpronation and underpronation, whereby the natural inward rolling of the foot on impact either rolls too much (overpronation) or too little (underpronation), putting pressure on specific areas instead of distributing force evenly throughout the foot. This can lead to many issues down the line, including the common plantar fasciitis. The Powerstep Pinnacle insoles help keep the feet from over or under pronating with their deep heel cup that aids with natural alignment, and a semi-rigid shell with arch support that provides stability. They're stiff and slip easily into your shoes, allowing you to put them into multiple pairs of shoes without hassle, and are low-profile enough not to take up too much room.Materials: Insoles often rely on cork, plastic, foam, gel, or a combination of these to provide cushioning and support. Graddon explains that plastic insoles tend to be stiffer, while pairs made of cork and foam will mold to your feet more easily. She adds that foam is the softest and the least supportive, making it a good choice for wearers with diabetes or neuropathy ( loss of feeling in your feet). Heel pain can develop from a number of factors, but we found that EasyFeet's Plantar Fasciitis Arch Support Insoles can help combat many of them. For starters, a deep heel cup promotes proper alignment and distributes your weight evenly. Additional gel padding underneath the balls of your feet and your heels adds comfort, for a lighter stride. The insoles we tested had unique constructions that were specific to what they aimed to provide. Some had many features, with targeted areas of padding, the use of multiple different materials, and claims to cure all foot pain, while others were simpler in design and function.

Currex's RunPro Running Insoles provided a little cushioning but didn’t alleviate our foot pain or have enough support for higher arches. The roll call of athletes linked to Enertor is impressive. The brand says it’s not only helped Premier League footballers and Tour de France winners, but its insoles are endorsed and worn by none other than Olympic superstar and eight-time gold medallist Usain Bolt. Foot issues: There are a number of uncomfortable foot problems that insoles can ease. These include minor gripes such as bunions, hammertoes and calluses, but also bigger issues such as plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia. They can also help correct overpronation and oversupination. Sizes: Men’s 8 to 14, Women’s 6 to 10 | Arch Type: Low | Anti-Odor: No | Materials: Not listed | Our Overall Rating: 4.8/5 Athletes who train hard find themselves on their feet a lot. It’s important for them not only to keep their feet comfortable but to prevent injury as well. These athletic insoles use a viscoelastic closed-cell foam layer to help absorb impact, providing a more comfortable and supportive experience.Sizes: Men’s: 5.5 to 17, Women’s 4.5 to 14 | Arch Type: High | Anti-Odor: Yes | Materials: Polyester, foam | Our Overall Rating: 5/5
