About this deal

This service does not deliver on a Saturday or Sunday. If you would like Saturday delivery please call us on 01782 409310. All the above is acheived whilst maintaining the same core engineering team, working to the same designs and production procedures, utilising the same manufacturing & test equipment, all done in the UK right through from 1982 to the present day...

Gunze also make a 2 part system Mr Mark Setter and Mr Mark Softer, and Daco produce 3 strengths of a sol type decal setter. Micro's sytem is probably the most wideley available, but doesn't work on all kit manufacturers decals to the same degree ( old hasegawa decals and other japanese decals tend to not like it in my experience), which is where the other makes can be useful. You can also choose to fillet your accounts for the public record to reduce how much information is publicly available. In this case, you’ll only need file a balance sheet with footnotes. Make sure you accompany it with a statement that the profit and loss account hasn’t been filed, and that your annual accounts have been delivered in accordance with the Small Companies’ regime. Thanks to The Small Companies (Micro Entities’ Accounts) Regulations 2013, micro companies are exempt from some of the financial reporting requirements when preparing their year-end Companies Act accounts. Some businesses cannot apply the exemptions of the micro-entities regime, including: Do you mean they are pre-painted, or you want to apply decals to bare plastic? I’ve never attempted the latter, but I suppose the process would be the same as with a painted surface…You may also choose to file ‘filleted’ accounts with Companies House, which can reduce how much information is publicly available about your company’s performance. This can stop competitors getting information about your financial situation or simply keep your information private. Micro Set and Micro Sol are two distinct but complementary decal setting solutions produced by Microscale Industries. After all painting has been finished it is best to give the model a gloss varnish before applying decals. This has three distinct advantages, firstly it helps protect the paint scheme already applied. Secondly, most gloss varnishes will attempt to 'Self-level' on the surface of the model which allows for better adhesion of decals and finally, gloss varnishes help to hide any transparent carrier film of the decal on the surface of the model. Unlike abridged accounts that small businesses can file, you won’t need to include a director’s report. Many micro-entities are also exempt from being audited, so you will not need to file an auditor’s report. They are decal softening solutions and I'd say they're worth it. They make your decals conform to the surface a lot more easily than using a sharp scalpel, kitchen roll and gentle pressure. Skeltonhall Limited was founded in the UK in 1975 by Tony Hall, and in 1982 he developed and launched the 'Skeltonhall' Micro-set® MSD1 meter prover sphere detector. Over the past 4 decades it has demonstrated itself to be the most dependable of instruments - with several thousand units in service globally, and near zero reported technical issues;

After launch, the Micro:bit Educational Foundation was created. This is now a global non-profit brand which oversees the BBC micro:bit legacy and continues to provide them to children, educators, and anyone who wishes to learn about coding. While the water is being absorbed on kitchen roll, add a few drops of Micro Set to the model where the decal is to be placed. Micro set contains a wetting agent which removes any unwanted residue from the area. It also helps the decals glue to form a harder bond.All pressure retaining materials are sourced from reputable & certified mills. All manufacturing processes are carried out in the UK & each component is carefully tested at every stage. Every unit is individually assembled by hand in the UK by skilled engineers with decades of experience. Once the varnish has been applied then we can look at applying the decals. Micro set works by gently softening decals which helps them to better conform to the model surface. Firstly apply a little Micro Set to the intended location before applying the decal. Once the decal is in place another gentle coat of Micro Set can help with the decal adhesion and allows the decal to 'contour' by more closely following the surface of the model. Toys | microbit – a selection of toys that can be built using the micro:bit, if you add extra components or machinery The micro:bit hardware has been developed since it was created in 2015, with the current iteration (V2) boasting enhanced features which will play a part in our new campaign.

So you want to do some shading washes on your model after applying the decals. That’s a great idea! It’ll help blend in and provide that perfect matte finish for those who will be seeing it up close or even give them an old painting look if they prefer more of an authentic feel. There are plenty of options: Lahmian Medium is one popular choice, but don’t forget about using painters’ oils. Finale Tips for using Microset and MicrosolOnce completely dry take a clean wet paintbrush and wash over the decal to remove any excess glue as sometimes a small residue is left. When you are at the final stages of making your model, apply a coat of gloss varnish this will give a nice smooth surface for the decal to adhere to. The device contains a range of sensors, connectors, and inputs that offer multiple ways of using the device. These features include: Through the micro:bit, children are encouraged to explore ideas using real code. The device provides an authentic experience of the interaction between hardware and software and gives children practical computer knowledge. Using it, they can see how what they do with the code on-screen has a direct impact on the device they're holding in their hand. The Companies Act 2006 classes a limited company as a micro-entity if it meets two of the three conditions during the financial year in question. A company must not have more than one of the following:

Microsol is a liquid that softens up some types of vinyl more than water does. It’s made explicitly for applying flat-surfaced decals to curved surfaces like the ones on helmets or car bodies, but it can be used on other kinds of decals as well. Just remember not to use Microset and Microsol together because they soften things in different ways, and you could end up ruining your decal if you mix them after using one without knowing about it. Step by Step: How to Apply Decals with Microset and Microsol Step 1 I've found set REALLY good for softening those decals that fit over leading edges of wings - wait a few seconds and it will soften and snuggle down really well. Treasure hunt | micro:bit – use several micro:bits together, sending and receiving radio signals, to make a treasure hunting game Replication of horizontal or sloping surfaces. Use in low temperature conditions or where rapid results are required. Mirco Sol setting solution is for the most difficult irregulat surfaces to be found on models. It completely softens the Microscale Decal, allowing it to drape down onto the surface of the model, comforming perfectly to surface irregularities without distortion. The most amazing results in seemingly impossible places are possible because Micro Sol actually makes the decal part of the painted surface."Place the decal on top of a small amount Microset. Leave for a few moments to allow it to soften before applying more paintbrush strokes overtop! Step 4 Actually, there is a method to remove the yellowing that occurs with old decals. It isn’t perfect, but it does help. Basically, you hang the decals out in the sun, and there are different ways of doing this, either inside a window that faces south or which every direction gets the most sun per day. The basic rule is, the longer you allow the sun to bleach the decals, the more of the yellow that goes away. It is not just theory, but a fact. You may never return it to new condition, but you can at least minimize the amount of yellowing that happens with age,. Another hint, if you do plan to use this method of dunking the decals into the microset solution, I would decant some into a very small paint tray instead of dunking into the bottle. I am not certain, but it would stand to reason that multiple dunks into the bottle will ultimately contaminant the bottle with the glue agents on the decal sheet, this may or may not have a negative effect on the decals, but just to be certain, it is easy to pour into an appropriate sized tray. Rather error on the side of causion than pollute the microset with differing types of glue released from multiple kits and decal sheets. Micro Set slightly softens the decal film to make it more flexible so that it will conform better to the model’s surface. Better adhesion of the decal to the model prevents tiny air bubbles from forming and results in an invisible carrier film for the so-called ‘painted on look.’ Microsol CookieYes sets this cookie to record the default button state of the corresponding category and the status of CCPA.
