About this deal

Breakout Character: The Punisher originally appeared as a Spider-Man villain in 1974. He became popular and started to appear on a regular basis, eventually getting his own series in the '80s. Stan Lee, then Marvel's editor-in-chief, recalled in 2005 that he had suggested the character's name: Slasher Smile: Many of the Punisher's Psycho for Hire foes and Frank himself occasionally sports one in the mainstream Marvel universe.

Frank Castle: When you're on your own, behind enemy lines, no artillery, no air strikes, no hope of an evac, you don't fight dirty. You do things that make dirty look good. Let's You and Him Fight: In their very first meeting, Punisher and Wolverine attempted to kill each other because they mistook each other for poachers. They form a strong friendship soon after. Mook Chivalry: Obviously used quite a lot. What makes this extra-hilarious is that the smarter bosses (Cavella, Zakharov, Maginty) actually take the failings of their Mooks into account and use it to engineer Batman Gambits; Zakharov manages to blindside Frank with this trope twice. The Russian is a murderous, violent and psychopathic killer for hire. He is, nonetheless, incredibly friendly to his enemies, actively complimenting and joking with them mid-fight. The premium 1:1 full-scale electronic helmet features a faceplate that can be detached and reattached to the top. Detaching and attaching the faceplate prompts electronic lights and sound FX

Conway was also involved in creating the unique outfit for the character. As Conway recalled in 2002, "In the '70s, when I was writing comics at DC and Marvel, I made it a practice to sketch my own ideas for the costumes of new characters—heroes and villains—which I offered to the artists as a crude suggestion representing the image I had in mind. I had done that with the Punisher at Marvel." [20] Conway had drawn a character with a small death's head skull on one breast. Marvel art director John Romita, Sr. took the basic design and blew the skull up to huge size, taking up most of the character's chest. [21] Amazing Spider-Man penciller Ross Andru was the first artist to draw the character for publication.

Chest Insignia: The Punisher's iconic skull. Like Batman, it serves as a heavily armored target, and in the earlier issues the teeth were spare ammo magazines. Premium roleplay helmet with light-up FX inspired by the appearance of The Punisher character in the mobile video game Marvel Future Fight Premium roleplay helmet to complete any fan costume or collection with the high-quality design expected from the Hasbro Legends Series Skeleton Motif: The Punisher is a vigilante who kidnaps, tortures and kills criminals. He wears a uniform/shirt with a skull insignia on the chest. It is deliberately done so that people aim for his better-armoured chest, rather than his head or joints.Doctor Strange / Punisher: Magic Bullets (2016) — an Infinite Comics webcomic that teams its two stars against a mafia family who've found something magical and powerful in their basement. He will not kill cops as a general rule, even crooked ones. The rare occasions where he does are usually accidental, self-defense, or the guy just REALLY deserved it. Skilled in guerrilla warfare, military tactics, close quarters combat, infiltration, marksmanship, and demolitions Handy Cuffs: Frank was captured by a minor gang leader named Machete, who insisted on killing a cuffed Castle in a machete duel. Castle rejects the machete, and kills the guy with his bare hands. James Rhodes grew up in South Philadelphia until he enlisted in the military. [7] While serving in the Vietnam War, Rhodes encounters Iron Man, who had just built his first armor and escaped from his captors, and the two work together to reach safety at the U.S. embassy. [2] As time went on and the Vietnam War no longer corresponded with Rhodes's age, the conflict was retroactively changed to a war in the fictional nation of Siancong. [35] He eventually began working for Stark as a pilot, and the two became friends. [4] When Stark's alcoholism prevents him from fighting the supervillain Magma, Rhodes takes the Iron Man armor and continues the fight. Stark's alcoholism grows worse, and Rhodes takes the armor to become Iron Man. As Iron Man, he resigns from the Avengers and destroys the other Iron Man armors to keep them from being taken by Obadiah Stane. [11]

The miniseries premiered with a January 1986 cover date. It was bannered on the cover as the first of four; although the series had always been intended to be five issues long, and the banner was an error that recurred throughout the entire run. [31] The plot changed from Grant's initial story, though the basic concept remained the same. [30] An important element of the story was a retcon that explains that many of the Punisher's more extreme actions to this point were the result of being poisoned with mind-altering drugs. [32] With premium sculpting and design, this helmet is an impressive addition to any Marvel collection. The helmet interior and the faceplate are detailed to evoke the electronic design, while the exterior boasts a remarkable attention to detail and a beautiful finish. Collectors, fans, and Marvel enthusiasts alike can imagine suiting up and create their own vigilante adventures!a b Donohoo, Timothy (2020-06-09). "Iron Man: Who is Marvel's Other War Machine?".
