About this deal

A versatile how-to if you will, Drunken Strawberries can be made with whatever alcohol you like! Serve them at parties, gatherings, brunch, on Mother’s Day, birthdays OR for your special someone on Valentine’s Day. WHAT DO YOU SOAK STRAWBERRIES IN? If using fresh strawberries wash, hull and quarter them. Add the strawberries into the jar and then pour the vodka on top.

Classic Strawberry Liqueur is semi-transparent, bright red in color with accented strawberry flavor. If you Strawberry cream liqueur tends to have a little uneven texture simply blend it in a food processor or with a blender. You can prepare sugar syrup and especially creamy syrup the night before bottling your strawberry liqueur. This is how I like to serve it on hot summer days. It is easy. I use the measurement ratio 1:3. So if you have a 180 ml/ 6 fl oz glass then add 90 ml/ 9 fl oz vodka and 120 ml/ 4 fl oz lemonade. After this time, strain the strawberries through a fine mesh sieve or cheese cloth. Capture the vodka and fill into a bottle or gift bottles as desired.

STRAWBERRIES: Use firm, vibrant-coloured ripe strawberries for this recipe. Wash them well before soaking in alcohol. The size of the strawberries is not important. In fact, a lot of times small strawberries will have more flavor. The most important things is that the strawberries are fresh and firm to touch. Alcohol infused strawberries have been on my to do list since I started working with Jen here at Whole Lotta yum, and of course we wanted to jump on this trend while our area is producing amazing fresh and local strawberries. Alcohol, local produce and a little sugar to sweeten the deal! What more could one ask for? As I had hoped they turned out AMAZING, and definitely a Whole Lotta Yum material. It’s highly recommended to chill cream syrup overnight or at least for a few hours before making Strawberry Cream Liqueur. This way you’ll get a smoother liqueur in terms of texture. Preparing a strawberry vodka summer punch is a fun way of entertaining guests. One of my favourite recipes is strawberry vodka champagne punch. Ingredients:

Place strawberries in a glass jar with airtight closing and pour in the alcohol. It’s very important that all strawberries stay covered with alcohol. If needed you can either remove a few strawberry pieces or add just a little bit more of alcohol. Leave To Macerate In a pot add water and sugar and bring everything to a boil. Mix well making sure all sugar is dissolved. Let cool completely. Sugar- you can substitute for monkfruit sweetener, or turbanado sugar for less calories and a switch up in texture. Monkfruit sweeter is keto friendly with zero calories and zero carbs, while turbanado sugar also tends to have less calories than white sugar and a larger grain texture. With this recipe you can make 2 versions of Strawberry Liqueur. You do it by simply changing the type of the syrup you add to the strawberry infused alcohol.Once your strawberries have soaked, strain and gently pat each dry with a paper towel. If you are not planning on eating them immediately it is best to place them in a bowl once dry, and proceed to the next steps right before you serve them. This recipe is perfect for a night in with your friends or serving at your next soiree. If you plan to prepare them to serve later, I highly recommend having them displayed with the sugar on the side for individual dipping rather than pre dipping your berries, to keep your them looking fresh and delectable. No matter where you serve these alcohol infused strawberries, they are sure to be a hit! Why You'll Love This! No need to buy fancy syringes or expensive liquor to have all the desired flavor and effects of alcohol infused strawberries. Simply soak these strawberries in your favorite Prosecco and follow our easy steps, and you're in for a treat!

Making strawberry vodka is super simple. You can use fresh strawberries for the vodka. However, I also tried it with frozen strawberries with similar success. Equipment Needed This recipe is SO easy it only require 3 simple ingredients, a bit of spare time and a passion for infusing sweets with alcohol. Give it a try, we promise you won't regret it! It’s a little less alcoholic than the classic version. It’s delicious served from the freezer and slowly sipped from a liqueur glass. Strawberry Cream Liqueur also great for topping ice creams. Prosecco - you can create alcohol infused strawberries with pretty much any dry alcohol. Some substitutes include champagne, vodka, rum, white wine, red wine or rose. I’ve found over the years that the best tasting strawberries have been infused with a dry alcohol. Prosecco, Champagne, Vodka, Rum, White wine, Red wine or Rosé work really well with strawberries. Coating them in granulated white sugar creates a sweet syrup of strawberry mixed with the alcohol that you can dip them in when serving!

If you love these alcohol infused strawberries as much as we did, be sure to give our Keto Chocolate Covered Strawberries and our decadent Keto Rum Balls a try. They are sure to make your mouth water! Ingredient Notes If your dip the strawberries too early before serving, the sugar turns into more of a syrup. While still delicious, it changes the texture and appearance of your strawberries. For best results, d ip the strawberries immediately before serving, or have the sugar out for guests to dip their own strawberries, (similar to how one would dip a strawberry into a chocolate fountain.) Stir your strawberries a couple of times while they soak to make sure they throughly soak up the alcohol. Any strawberries that started to soften or turn a burgundy/brown-ish color should not be used to make the liqueur. ALCOHOL: You don’t need an expensive bottle of alcohol for this recipe. although I do recommend using your favourite brand.
