Pour on gravel binder is typically sold in either 1 gallon or 5-gallon containers. Around the home, it is a marvelous product for turning loose gravel into a clean, hard surface that’s easy to walk on. Resin Bound Gravel Kits We have a comprehensive range of the most popular blends of gravels to make resin bound gravel installations as simple as possible. Because no sub base is required this saves alot of time, effort and money, making our system cheaper and more practical than a typical resin bound installation. It takes 12-16 hours for the EasiHold Resin to cure, faster in summer, slower in winter, as curing is affected by ambient temperature. When this doesn’t happen – for example in cold conditions or if you have applied too much Easihold and the stones are over saturated; the crosslinking process will not occur, and the final result will be compromised

Spraying is more efficient because the Easihold will go further, but this method requires an airless sprayer. We recommend to use up to 1 litre (33.81 oz) per 2.8m² (30.14 sq. ft.) (and 1x5 Litre / 33.81 oz Jerry can cover 12-14m² (129.17-150.70 sq. ft.) using Spray On Method per coat.

We recommend to use 2 applications of Easihold when applying by the Pour On or Spray On method for the strongest finish. Easihold Hand Mix We would recommend between 4mm and 10mm diameter for the best bond. But you can use stones up to 15mm and still achieve good results. Even larger stones can be bonded if clean and angular, but we wouldn't recommend for any foot traffic. After all, it won't do in the slightest to see the garden walk-path shimmer under 4 inches of water after a hard rain, or to play driveway basketball in galoshes. If you're concerned about flooding, do be certain to use a permeable pour on binder. Stones must be clean and dry. Avoid dusty or dirty stones, limestone, crush and run, stone dust, and decomposed granite. Gravel-Lok can bond together small (1/8") up to large (2.5") stones. ADA Compliant when using stones 1/8" to 1/2". Not all stones are suitable for Gravel-Lok, it is recommended to create test samples prior to installation. Gravel footpaths (in gardens, around paving slabs or dustbin store areas etc.) that are likely to experience regular foot traffic should be installed using only the hand mix and trowel method to achieve the best results.GravelHold can be poured from a watering can, using around 1 litre per square metre. Ensure your stones are evenly coated for best results. A sprinkler rose should be used to ensure distribution. Or, if desired, 3mm diameter holes can be drilled into the lid of the GravelHold container to create a sprinkler effect and be used similarly to a watering can.
