About this deal

Tilt sensitivity is a feature that makes your tablet sensitive to the angle of the pen over the surface. It’s not offered by the first device on our list, the Wacom Intuos family, but it is included in the Wacom Intuos Pro series of tablets.

For those who are left-handed – You can simply rotate the device by 180° and change the settings to the left-handed mode in the driver settings. These things do not happen to Wacom tablets. In addition to that, the Wacom Intuos Pro is made of premium materials like aluminum. Also consider the size and weight of the tablet, especially if you expect to travel with it. And note the resolution, which Wacom generally measures in lines per inch (lpi). In practical terms, you need about 1,000lpi to see your drawing in high definition. Of course, Photoshop is not the only application the Intuous Pro is good for; I also used the tablet to work on images in Adobe Lightroom. And while it was useful for cloning and healing, I found it to be a little unwieldy when making adjustments to the slider. Ultimately I think I still prefer utilizing the mouse and the keyboard shortcuts that have been burned into my muscle memory for Lightroom work. Bottom lineThe tablet has decent battery life and lasts multiple days on a single charge. One important feature to notice here – unlike other tablets which boast of wireless connectivity, Wacom does not use any wireless receiver.

There is a high-quality pen stand included in the box. The pen stand holds the pen while not in use. It can keep the pen in standing as well as horizontal position. It has a metal base which gives it extra stability. With paper edition, you get an extra pen a clip for clipping your paper and a small storage pouch. Design and Build Quality source: wacom.com Now all the tablets in the market come with some kind of surface texture but no one has been able to perfect the recipe. The new version utilizes the Wacom Pro Pen 2, which comes with a weight base (shown below), and is slimmer than version 1 – It also features two programmable buttons and 8192 pressure levels (up from 2048). Wireless Bluetooth connectivity is also new to the Wacom Intuos Pro. Design The best thing about this tablet is the excellent ergonomics. Most notably, there's a new VESA mount that can be combined with its adjustable stand (or indeed any VESA-compatible arm or stand) to give you extra flexibility in positioning. In terms of price – you may have already guessed the smaller Intuos Pro is the least expensive followed by the medium and Large Intuos Pro models. The new big daddy of the Wacom range, announced in September 2022, the Cintiq Pro 27 boasts a majorly upgraded display – a true 10-bit 4K reference-quality unit, on par with a premium monitor. It’s the biggest tablet in the current family, with a 27-inch digital canvas, but despite this it actually has a smaller physical footprint than the previous Cintiq Pro 24, thanks to significantly slimmed bezels and a generally sleeker design. The texture also makes the tablet feel and sound like a paper. It is one of those things which adds to your drawing experience. Which frees up your USB ports and eliminates the possibility of losing the wireless receiver. Driver – tablet settings and customization The Wacom Pro Pen 2’s stand stores additional nubs. The pen itself has two customizable buttons – flip it upside down and you can use it as an eraser. The tablet itself has rubber grip on the bottom to keep it in place, and its slim profile makes it easy to travel with or store away when space is limited. In use

The tablet's pressure sensitivity is very useful especially when using the tablet for drawing purposes as it does a good job of replicating traditional art materials. The front portion of the pen has rubber-like material which feels soft and gives more grip. Pentips In case you do not want to use the touch feature – there is a button on the side of the tablet which lets you turn off the touch sensitivity. Stylus – Wacom Pro Pen 2 The overall drawing experience is very comfortable with everything working as smooth as you would expect. Surface Texture There are a lot of cheap devices in the market which try to match the Intuos pro in terms of numbers and specs list. You may get a cheap tablet that costs half its price but after a couple of months, you would realize the drawing surface is getting scratched off and wearing apart. You can also set application-specific shortcuts in which the shortcut buttons automatically change depending on the application you are using. When choosing the best Wacom tablet for your specific needs, what should you looking for? Start with the number of levels of pressure sensitivity, which suggests how closely the drawing on screen will resemble your actual pen marks. The more, the better. If you're a beginner or casual drawer, you'll probably find the lower end of 2,048 perfectly fine, but if you're a pro or semi-pro you may prefer more more. The Intuos Pro comes with a USB-c type 6.5ft (2 m) long cable which plugs on the right side of the tablet. It comes with an L-shaped connector which keeps the cable away from the working area. The Wacom Intuos Pro is a graphics tablet rather than a pen display, meaning you’ll need to hook it up to some kind of external display like a tablet or monitor. Once this is done – and the setup process is pretty intuitive and straightforward – you’ve got a highly effective drawing tablet on your hands, and one that comes at a great price.
