This hinge design makes this case stand out from every other iPad keyboard in existence. But is it the best possible design? If you're already accustomed to using a MacBook, then all of these gestures will feel even more intuitive. And, even if you're new to the Apple ecosystem, you'll still find the movements are easy to catch onto. If you're on the hunt for a quality keyboard case, you truly can't go wrong with the Magic Keyboard. While it is expensive, you're essentially paying for comfort and convenience. The keys themselves have rounded edges. They aren't sharp like the iMac's Magic Keyboard, but also not as soft as the Smart Keyboard for iPad. The keys have just the slightest bit of a concave curve. It's almost unnoticeable, but you can feel the curve if you run your finger across the keys.I am very aware of why Apple didn't include a row of function keys with the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro. It just wouldn't have fit. The overall experience would have been full-time poorer as opposed to only been poorer once in a while when you want to use function keys. The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro actually wins a lot of points for its thinness. It's significantly thinner than most keyboard cases I've used. Not thinner than the Smart Keyboard case, of course, but much thinner than the Brydge Pro+. The biggest complaint about the Magic Keyboard has been the weight, which adds quite a lot of bulk to the ‌iPad Pro‌. As mentioned above, the 12.9-inch model paired with a Magic Keyboard is heavier than a MacBook Air. Combined, that's just about three pounds, which is heavier than a ‌MacBook Air‌ and close to the weight of a 13-inch MacBook Pro. It's also super comfortable to use while watching Netflix or any other similar streaming service. At night, I'd prop it up on my bed to catch up on shows.
