About this deal

By some miracle though, your feet still breathe in the summer, so they don’t get too hot! Bloody brilliant! Fully waterproof: Made from insulating EVA closed-cell material; non-water-absorbing and moisture-proof. A simple tip but one that works very well is just to get your toes moving. Get some blood circulating and you’ll instantly feel them warming up. ROT RESISTANT – ever had a pair of boots or waders start leaking? I guarantee it’s not a cut or a tear, in fact it is likely to be because the seam or the sealant had rotted away. So, what did we do about it? Well we can’t give away the technology or material, but the Navitas Lite Insulated boots are resistant against sea water, oil, acid and alkali. In a nutshell, they are not going to leak anytime soon!

Super-lightweight!: Anti-fatigue; long lasting comfort for work or leisure. Average weight is less than 350g each. Compare this to the usual 1,250g welly boot.

Heat preservation: Microscopic closed cell EVA provides excellent heat insulation, anti-cold, non-frosting and insulation capabilities down to -30°C. Nothing ruins a fishing trip quite like being wet and cold, especially when it’s your feet! Of course, you might have your bivvy to shelter under but we all know you will dart out in the rain if those alarms go off and there’s a chance you might land a catch! Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee the weather, especially in the UK, but we can help you stay fresh and dry on your trip, whether you’re away for a week or just the afternoon with our selection of fishing shoes and boots! Don’t be fooled by boots that are simply fleece lined either. Often this is just nice to the touch, but offers little in terms of thermal properties.

Particularly for the winter months, you’ll need a pair of fishing boots that keep your feet warm. There’s nothing worse than a day on the lake with your toes freezing. Typically, the warmer your boots, the heavier they tend to be. Now you might be mistaken to think that they are just an average pair of wellies when you look at the photos, but you’d be wrong. Fortis have been making waves in the carp fishing clothing game for a couple of years now. Therefore it was no surprise to see them venture into the world of carp fishing footwear in 2021. All of that warmth does come at a price though, and that’s feeling like you’re walking on the moon! Although I am told that you get used to it, the Skee-Tex boots are known to be notoriously heavy. Again, another reason why many opt for the Vass boots as their go-to footwear. If you’re more of a bivvy bound carper, definitely consider some of the other options though as they make it up in warmth and overall comfort. BreathabilityThe bottom half of the boot is completely waterproof, so you’ll have no worries traipsing through mud and puddles on your session. At the base you have an extremely hard-wearing, yet comfortable sole, so you can expect to get more than a few years worth of wear if you invest in a pair of the Vass Fleece Lined Boots. SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT – Understatement of the year they are on average 70% lighter than a normal welly boot! That’s ridiculously light! It makes walking round the lakes and up and down the rivers an absolute doddle, no more tired feet or legs. Massive bonus for those that have to walk through mud and puddles or even long grass. Like most of the Fortis range of carp gear though, they aren’t the cheapest. So we expect that you’ll be paying a small premium to have the Fortis Badge. If you’re an up and at em’ carper who’s always traipsing around the lake in search of fish, then weight will be a big consideration for you. Heat preservation: Microscopic closed-cell EVA provides excellent heat insulation, anti-cold, non-frosting and insulation capabilities down to -30C

Alternatively, products like the Lapland Thermo Boot are ideal for anglers that venture towards colder waters. These aren’t just fishing shoes; engineered from smart materials and lightweight thermo foam rubber, these fishing boots from Eiger help maintain body temperature and are super comfortable with a polar fleece lining! You might not wear such heavy-duty boots all the time, but we know you will be so grateful for the times you do need them! High-Tech Fishing Shoes HEAT PRESERVATION – How do you keep your feet warm in the winter? Well firstly your feet have to be warm before you put them in the boots. Same applies for sleeping bags, they use the body’s warmth to keep you warm! They do not generate heat. You put cold feet in cold boots, you are going to be miserable all day. It’s feeling decidedly winterish out there folks! However, if something like a bit of a cold snap is not going to put you off as a die hard fishing fan, then we know that you will at least want to be sure that you are adequately equipped to be comfortable whilst out there doing what you love! We are here changing the game at Navitas in the form of our fashionable, yet entirely practical ranges of fishing clothing and footwear. Whether you are looking for cosy hoodies through to water-proof insulated wellington boots, we have it covered! You can put your money on them lasting a fair while too! With the outsole featuring an aggressive tread that is bound to last a long time.

The problem with writing product descriptions is that they need to short, sharp and to the point. So, let’s expand on a few of the important bits; As you can see from the photos, you have a fair bit of height in the Skee-Tex boots, so you’ve got plenty of ankle support and warmth to keep you as comfortable as possible. They are a little more cumbersome to get on vs’ the Vass boots, so don’t expect to be dashing out of your sleeping bag and putting these on before bending into a fish. (keep your crocs for that 😉)Super-lightweight!: Anti-fatigue; long lasting comfort for work or leisure. Average weight is less than 350g each. Compare this to the usual 1,250g wellie boot!
