About this deal

The opening is a burst of spicy freshness which is very appealing and noticeable. The combination of juniper and ginger is well done. As it begins to settle in, the next 30-45 minutes are it’s finest moments. That lavender seeping in combined with the spiciness is just killer the way it’s done.

but is more sattle. Again Luna Sport has that love and hate relationship in the fragrance community. But to me I like the scent and is not unique, but is wearable on all occasions and seasons for me. So Le Male is more of a sweet, smooth warm fragrance, where LRS is more a more soapy, spicy, masculin and grown up. The differences are huge.I've always liked the smell of Le Male on others, but there was always something about it that kept me from wearing it, something sharp and green (maybe the mint, but it didn't seem like mint). So when I first smelled this I dismissed it as a copy and assumed that I wouldn't like it. I dont own this, but I do own an older formulation of the original Luna Rossa. Ive only smelled this on another person, a complete stranger. Copier repairman actually had this on in our office and I could smell this wonderful, familiar scent filling one corner of our small office. Walked to the corridor to see a repair guy pleasantly smelling up the place. He has repaired our crappy copier many times and always wears this scent. as a man I had to casually ask him in my contrived macho voice what he was wearing. After revealing luna rossa sport I immediately drew the comparison to the original Luna Rossa but fresher, lighter, a slight twist, but just as aromatic. Update- I own the entire Luna Rossa line now, and not only is this one my favorite, it’s in my top 5 favorite fragrances. I didn’t like the sweet vanilla-ish vibe at first, only because I was expecting something more fresh/citrus, being called “sport” and all. I’m reality, this scent IMO blends everything I LOVE about the Luna Rossa line and puts it all into one scent. I literally can spray this for any occasion, anytime, anywhere, it just works. All the other frags in my top 5 tend to have a very specific time and place for when they’re appropriate to wear, and this is easily the most versatile. It’s clean, crisp, but warm and cozy, and it’s just very uplifting and happy scent for me. Longevity is good, projection is good as well, it’s not loud and in your face but not subtle and disappearing either. Perfection!!

Prada has expanded their collection Luna Rossa with a new fragrance for men, PRADA LUNA ROSSA SPORT arriving after Luna Rosa from 2012, Luna Rossa 34th America's Cup Limited Edition from 2013 and Luna Rossa Extreme from 2013. The new fragrance Prada Luna Rossa Sport arrives in the same flacon as previous editions, in attractive red glass combined with a smooth silver metallic part and represents a combination of sports style and superior sailing technique. The smart use of texture and contrast of the red and metallic silver colors makes the new fragrance Prada Luna Rossa Sport more prominent, attractive, modern and different from the rest of the line. Oh and another thing, if something is 'mass apealing' or a 'crowd pleaser' then may I suggest that is a good thing? It's mass appealing because it appeals to a lot of people...because it smells nice....and that's bad because........? UPDATE: The more I wear this fragrance, the more I love it. The soapy Lavender is a work of art and I love wearing it after a shower at night. Prada produces the best soapy smelling fragrances on the market. I use to like it, now I love it. At first spray I thought this is decent, nothing special. So I didnt buy it. But I kept catching whiffs walking around the mall and after like a hour or so the scent changed completely. I was now WOWED. Cant really describe what I thought at first cause i wasnt digging it to much so I kinda wrote it off as I wasnt interested. Then that classic prada clean scent shined, the lavender, and then the base notes. The base notes with the lavender is where this scent shines. One word to describe this I would have to say "amazing". This is signature scent worthy in my honest opinion and it may end up being mine. This is a scent I dont hear much about and I believe it's highly underrated. As I keep bringing my hand up to smell cause it's to me a skin scent but others around me say they can still smell me and I only sprayed twice almost 7 hours ago. Never did i think that this would last as long as it has so far. I thought at max 3 maybe 4 hours cause they threw "sport" into its name. This is not a sport scent and it's very misleading, to me. If I washed it off like I wanted after spraying it on I would of never bought this. The magic is in the dry down and you just got to be patient to let this scent work its magic. I'm a big fan of Prada's house. When this came out in 2015 I tested it on strip and dismissed it. I thought to myself "Daniela Andrier, why would you go in this direction?". It seemed incredibly basic and generic and to me it didn't have the clean DNA that the Amber and L'homme line had.

Longevity: 9/10 (After the initial two hours, it comes closer to the skin for another three hours. Stays a skin-scent for a good five more hours) Upon first blush, anyone who owns or likes JPG Le Male will have an “Aha” moment with this fragrance.

Initially, I wasn't too impressed by the performance of the fragrance, but believe me, you can become blind to the fragrance and it's still there. I get 7-8 hours in longevity. Not as The soapy lavender is subtly, sophisticated, and mature with a strong touch of masculinity. Great as a day scent, out of the shower because it's not overpowering in any way, and good for an office/work environment. You can wear this as an all-year rounder, but personally not in the summer. If so, go easy on the sprays. If I were to describe it to a friend in one sentence it would go as follows: It is a clean, sweet, powdery scent that is masculine enough. Yes I can definitely get the Le Male from this, but not really that prominent since you can definitely use this during hot days but there has to be limitations on how many sprays and how hot the weather is. The magic is after 30 minutes of spraying this, by that time the mint is barely there and all I could smell is somewhat creamy very light vanilla that is not cloying, not so sweet tonka beans, powdery vibe and then faint wood. To put it simple, after 30 mins it still has the Le Male similarities, but I would say from 30% in the beginning to only about less than 10% after 30 mins on my skin. Now that’s all Prada LRS already after 30 min on my skin and comparing it 10% Le Male is not fair to Prada. Those things I mentioned after 30 min are all Prada LRS compliment getter. Being different by smelling odd or even unappealing does not mean it's good or that people will find you mysterious or enigmatic, they will simply think you smell weird or odd and assume you are nose blind and don't realise you smell strange. In short this is very simple and linear soapy fragrance that is only suitable for settings that you would not like to offend anyone. For 2 months of heavy daily usage I have received no compliments, so do not necessarily trust those who say this is a panty dropper. It is not. This does not mean you will not smell good - it is just a very safe clean scent that would not make a lasting impression. All in all, it’s a compliment getter that can be worn in just about any season and most occasions. I would even wear it to the office, but with just a couple of sprays. It’s not offensive or cloying, but a little will go a long way in that type of environment. It’s got great staying power, as good as any. Disregard claims that it doesn’t last…must have gone “nose-blind”.
