Vorab gestehe ich, dass ich ein absoluter Fan des Vox Sounds bin, mir aber einen AC15 oder AC30 zur Zeit nicht leisten kann. Mit Interesse hab ich schon die Einführung der kleinen Nutube Amps verfolgt, aber erst der Superbeetle hat mich zum Kauf animiert. NuTube is the new vacuum tube developed in a collaboration between KORG and Noritake Itron. This dream device uses vacuum fluorescent display technology to obtain the same vacuum tube sound and response, while eliminating the problematic aspects of a vacuum tube. The Nutube is used in the VOX MINI SUPERBEETLE, faithfully reproducing the tonal character of VOX's legendary AC30. Donde más cojea quizá sea la reverb y el trémolo incorporados, ahí ya empiezas a notar que estás ante un 'artefacto digital', pero es algo que puedes compensar con pedales o tener en mente que nadie en un directo va a afinar tantísimo la oreja. Beim Sound ist auch ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: der 10 Zoll Speaker klingt, gerade bei niedrigen Lautstärken etwas topfig, etwas kann man durch den "Flat/Deep" Schalter gegensteuern.
