About this deal

Inspired by her love for her home in the Caribbean, Bacardi Rum blender Noidys Herrera, who has been honing her craft for more than 10 years, worked closely with Bacardi global master blender, Troy Arquiza to create Bacardi Caribbean Spiced Rum. Herrera said: “The coconut tree has always had a strong link to the Bacardi family, being the emblem of the company symbolising the coconut palm that was planted at the original Bacardi Rum distillery. The new launches join the brand’s award winning product line up, which includes iconic flavours such as Rhubarb & Ginger Gin, Blood Orange and Raspberry, as well the award winning Distiller’s Cut London Dry. As with all products in the Whitley Neill range, the new flavours have been inspired by founder Johnny Neill’s travels around the world.

The Royal Warrant holder’s latest release, Rose and Cherry Bubbly, balances the sweet tartness of cherries with the floral notes of the rose, naturally sweetened with Muscat grape juice and finished with Sicilian lemons alongside soft Dartmoor spring water. These two launches with their on-trend, fruity flavours are no exception. We’re confident they will perform well this summer. The new serve has been aged under the Caribbean sun, with the subtle oaky char from the barrels adding to the smooth and warming taste.

Even more exciting was our discovery that people were looking specifically for unique flavours and aged rums. Whitley Neill Banana & Guava gin is a blend of ripe bananas and juicy guavas, making it a perfect option for those looking for a tropical tipple. Perfectly balanced, the sweet finish of the Banana & Guava gin also works wonderfully served as spritz with lemonade, a splash of Prosecco and an orange wedge to garnish. The two gins also debut Whitley Neill’s new bottle design, featuring ornate glass detailing for a “premium, luxury feel,” per the brand. The new bottle design is set to be introduced to the existing Whitley Neill line, replacing the brand’s smooth glass bottling. Whitley Neill has added two new flavours to its portfolio, Apple & Red Berries and Banana & Guava (both 41.3% ABV).
