About this deal

I have finally come around to product testing the Yonex Super Grap even though it has been my go-to overgrip for a large majority of my 15+ years playing badminton. That’s the struggle when you get your hands on a bunch of grip products all at once. It was like Christmas came early with all these shiny new toys. But now I will shine the spotlight on the Yonex Super Grap, deservingly! The Yonex Super Grap Comments: I'm a loyal customer once I choose a brand, but it takes me a long time to settle on one. I've settled on this one. Even if you don't try another overgrip, you will never be sorry with Super Grap because it does everything you'd want it to do anyway. You can flip it to the other side when you feel it needs to change, if you want to save some money. You'll not feel that the grip is made cheaply. It will not tear on you. If you end up with blisters, it will be due to how the racquet is being used or how often you're playing, not due to the grip. If the racquet slips out of a hand, it will be due to the hold, the position on-court, or the opponent's shot, not the grip. If you feel you need to change it because of moisture, I'd be willing to put money on you being in the top 2% of the world for performance sweating, right up there with Berdych, and no grip will do better for you than this one anyway. If one thing about this grip says it all, it is this: it lasts for such a long time and performs as it should, so well that you will most likely change the grip because it is dirty, not because the grip isn't working anymore. After playing for what felt like a continuous 1.5 hour badminton session – seriously, there were maybe a 1-minute break here and there to towel off or take a sip of water – the Yonex Super Grap held its own. The grip was far from feeling like it was at its limit of absorbing sweat. On the contrary, the grip felt like it was just as fresh as when it was newly applied at the beginning of the session. Feel Comments: Perfect for long handled racquets! I have a AeroPro Drive Plus with a 4 1/2 handle. Very few grips make it to the top of the handle. This grip does so, very easily. I like thin grips, and this is tolerable at 0.6mm (I prefer around 0.45).

While the Yonex Super Grap is comfortable, there were others that out-perform it in this category, such as the Yonex Hi Soft Grap. Curious why? Read all about it in my review. A sense of familiarity does not necessarily equate to a perfect score, and I have faith that there are even better grips out there! Durability Comments: This overgrip is so awesome! I love how it's comfortable for your hand and can absorb as much sweat as possible. It's very durable and doesn't dry out really fast. I recommend this to those who don't want to get blisters. Even if you’re a novice, you should employ overgrip because every professional player does. We’ve tried striking without one, and trust me; your hands will thank you. Plus, a cushioned overgrip is significantly more comfortable in the hands. Conclusion: Was this a bad batch? Who knows, but I can’t see how this is a viable product if other customers get the same experience as they are useless within 5 minutes. Even Gasquet needs more playing time than that!

The overall dimensions of the Yonex Super Grap are pretty standard to the majority of the over Yonex overgrips though in both length and width. Comments: This overgrip lasts much longer than the many other ones I have tried with the exception of the Wilson Pro overgrip. However, many players who say they sweat a lot from their hands sweat more on their forearms but don’t wear sweatbands, which means the sweat runs down onto their hands. Exclusively only with us: This product is available exclusively in the online shops and/or branches of SIGNA Gruppe

At the end of the day, it is indisputable that the Yonex Super Grap is still a solid choice for an overgrip. Would I continue using it? In a heartbeat. It has been a steady companion throughout my long badminton journey so far, and I intend to continue on with it until I find a suitable replacement for it. It’s important to note that the following review is being written after playing only one 1.5-hour session with the grip. I am also a player who sweats more than the average badminton player. So take those factors into consideration when reading on with the review. Comments: Super Grap feels okay, but durability is terrible. My current preference is Prince DuraPro. Comments: The best grip I have ever put on my racquet. I recommend this grip to anybody. My former grip of choice was the tourna grip. But after trying this grip there is no comparison between the 2.

I’ve also seen people use them for anything that requires a grip. Think dumbells, pull-up bars, axes, door handles, and steering wheels. Great all-around, but not exceptional. The Yonex Super Grap is more than your run-of-the-mill, standard grip. It performs above average across the board. However, players should not expect it to be an industry leader in any one category. Comments: This overgrip is probably the best overgrip I've ever used.I highly recommend this to anyone.Only bad thing is, if you have a light colored grip underneath the Yonex supergrap it'll get stained a diff color. I had a white overgrip under a yellow Yonex one and it turned lime green.
