About this deal

Also, this juice STAYS. I sprayed my arm yesterday morning, and I found it to be a bit suffocating through the night! So if you end up loving this juice, you may find this bottle will last you a while, as a little goes a long way.

To start off I want to go ahead and mention that Ameer Al Oudh smells nothing similar to 24 Gold of Scentstory. It's Ameer's sister Raghba which is the one who smells similar to 24 Gold. Day 2- I have not smelled that cumin tinge I smelled at the initial spray. It seems a little less dusty/powdery and more sweet. Hoping it becomes even better after letting it sit a while. Growing on me :) This scent reminds me of Istanbul. Oudsy, somewhat Middle Eastern, people love it without regarding its overpowering bad sides and beautiful.Synthetic Oudh (with these prices it is faux Agarwood, even in Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud Perfumes it's fake according to Oudh pro's), can come across as rubbery, more specific: burnt rubber, as petrol like, musty moldy hay, or even - which is closer to the indolic Indian real deal - quite animalic. That's a euphemism for a dirty barn or actual excrement. Yes, poo. I sprayed it on my hand and after about an hour, and washing my hands, the scent really smoothed out and a lot of the harsh incense smell went away and it took on a creamy smell very similar to Dolce & Gabbana The One. Smells like a dessert is cooking in a wood fire. Even the scent feels warm to my nose and there is this uncanny wood smoke aftersmell/nosefeel when I exhale.

Wearability: 7.0 (mainly cold weather and a night scent; you may use it either in outdoors or indoors) My first thoughts were that it smells like church incense with a sweet sugar and a general "orientallness". A very very sweet and incense-y, maybe a little medicinal opening. Dries down to some sort of general woodiness and the titular oud, which is obviously synthetic and does give that rubber tires smell a little bit. I get some sort of synthetic smell in the frag which I hate. Some sort of chemical woodiness I guess. Just messes up the whole fragrance for me. And oh boy does this develop! Like 15 minutes later I started getting the AMAZING woody sauna notes. It is such a gem! And it gets really close to By The Fireplace! I probably would not tell the difference with those two side by side! So if u can just ignore the opening of this fragrance (it's very ambery strong and something a little weird, reminded me of Bentley Intense lmao) then I 100% recommend atleast trying it. I had a 10ml decant of this for testing as for me MM fragrances are always hit or miss, I love some, I dislike others, none of them are in the middle. This is thankfully in my opinion not potentially cloying like it, but I find it even sweeter than Joop Homme, so know that if you tend to get nauseous or dizzy by overly sweet fragrances. This smells like you could drink it. this is among the most dramatic fragrances I own , and despite the fact that most of fragrance community consider this is as a (By the fire place clown ) I think it has it's own character and there is a lot going on and is far from being linear. Yes, when it arrived and I did my blind buy first spray - I was turned off and told my boyfriend I'm giving it to him. Whenever you feel like wearing a powerfull Oud fragrance, but want it well behaved and not disturbing your fellow common wearer and lover of citrus scents, you may well elect Ameer Al Oudh as one of your favourites fragrances. Wore it for 2 days and I was angrily underwhelmed and I thought I had a copy , fake or just a bad bottle 6 sprays nothing just some mild woods
