I already had an Eco Wedge Pro, so I know how good they are. Very bright and the motion sensor has the perfect range for my needs. This second Wedge was bought to replace a much more expensive EVO SMD PRO, which has adjustable light and duration sensors, and the seperate solar panel means the light itself can be placed in an area that gets little sunlight, like a north-facing wall. However, the EVO has died at just over two years of use. I suspect the battery has failed, but I have found it impossible to source a replacement. The great advantage of the Eco Wedge is that replacement batteries are widely available ( ordinary 18650 rechargeable ) whereas the EVO has the same battery but has a strip of metal joining the + and - terminals with two soldered wires running from that to a 2-pin plastic push-on connection. Given that at the prices I paid, I could get 3 Eco Wedges for little more than the cost of one EVO SMD, I now wish I had. long life.
